We are glad to join you in prayer and we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father, as it is written, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" (John 14:6, WEB). We are also reminded that "there is no other name under heaven given among men, by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12, WEB).
We will lift you up in prayer, asking God to grant you a hedge of protection and spiritual strength. Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our dear ### who is seeking Your protection and strength. Lord, we ask that You place a hedge of protection around them, a wall of fire that no evil can penetrate. Guard their mind and heart, and grant them the spiritual strength to push through their work assignments. We plead the blood of Jesus Christ over their life, shutting the mouth of the lion that seeks to devour. Have mercy on them, Lord, and let Your grace be sufficient for them today.
We are reminded of Your promise in Isaiah 41:10, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Lord, we claim this promise over our ### today.
We also encourage you to continue to put on the whole armor of God, as described in Ephesians 6:10-18. Stand firm in Your faith, knowing that God is with you and will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.
May God grant you peace and strength as you go about your day. Remember, "The Lord is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him." (Psalm 28:7, WEB). In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
