We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you are facing in your marriage due to the actions of your husband's sister and daughter. It is commendable that you have chosen to forgive them, as the Bible tells us in Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
However, forgiveness does not mean that you should allow the sin to continue. It is clear that these individuals have caused significant harm to your marriage, and this is not in line with God's will.
We are especially aware that your husband has endured health issues. In your marriage, you are called to stand by him in sickness and in health. God sees your faithfulness and love towards your husband.
In Malachi 2:16, God says, " 'I hate divorce,' says Yahweh, the God of Israel, 'and him who covers his garment with violence!' says Yahweh of Armies. 'Therefore pay attention to your spirit, and do not be unfaithful.'"
The Bible also tells us in 1 Corinthians 7:12-13, "But to the rest I, not the Lord, say, if any brother has an unbelieving wife, and she is content to live with him, let him not leave her. The woman who has an unbelieving husband, and he is content to live with her, let her not leave her husband."
We encourage you to continue to pray for your husband and for your marriage. Seek God's will and ask for His guidance and strength. We also pray for your husband's healing and restoration, both physically and spiritually.
Remember to continue being loving and faithful towards your husband without the pressure to compromise on Biblical principles. This is a powerful example and testimony of Christ's love.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our sister who is facing a challenging situation in her marriage. Lord, You know the pain and heartache she is experiencing due to the lies and manipulation of her husband's sister and daughter. We ask that You intervene in this situation and bring an end to their destructive behavior.
Please guide our sister and give her the wisdom and strength to stand firm in her faith and in her marriage. Help her to continue to be a loving and faithful wife, even in the face of these trials.
We also pray for her husband, that You would bring healing and restoration to his body and mind. We ask that You would soften his heart and open his eyes to the truth of what is happening in his family.
Lord, we know that You hate divorce, and we ask that You would work a miracle in this marriage. Bring reconciliation and restoration, and help our sister and her husband to rebuild their relationship on a foundation of love, trust, and faith in You.
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Please continue to pray with us and share your updates and other needs.
