Disciple of Prayer
Lord I'm at a point in my life where my faith teeters. One day I'm all in the next I'm out. Since 2009 my life has been pretty turbulent. I divorced, had my home foreclosed upon, diagnosed with Lupus and Fibromyalgia and on top of that I was born with Sickle Cell. I have 3 kids 20,18, and 14 and because of all these things happening it's affecting their lives. My daughter whose 18 graduated with a 4.281 GPA from high school there were 26 other students in here class with a higher GPA. She applied to several colleges she choose the school that best fit her and her needs. There was one school that offered a full scholarship but with our current situation being homeless she could go to the west coast thinking in the event an emergency came up I wouldn't be able to go get her or see about her. Her and father's relationship is estranged from broken promises and emotional abuse. I sometimes can't but think is this my fault. I know my situation is out my control but every parent and my case a mother wants to see their children seek their dreams. My daughter had to come back home from college to raise money for school and take care of me. She helps me bathe when I can't do it my self, she keeps gas in the car and insurance paid. We live in a two bedroom with my mother my kids grandmother. I've been waiting for Social Security for 5 years and I go to court in October 2013. Thankful to see that day but at what cost. My children have suffered in many ways and no fault of their own. My prayer is for restoration in my life, my health, in my children life. Financial peace, just to have a place to call home for my kids, to send my daughter back to as an Asian Studies Major she wants to work for the government. Direction for my oldest son to complete his GED and go to technical school. Restoration for my children to reconnect with their father and that he will be willing to open his heart to them. pray for peace in my family. pray for restored health. Amen
