We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting it up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Your words do not explicitly mention the name of Jesus, but we know that salvation and every spiritual blessing come through Him alone. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me" (John 14:6). We pray that you have placed your faith in Him as your Lord and Savior, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12).
Heavenly Father, we join our brother/sister in prayer, asking that You grant them peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Lord, we pray that today unfolds smoothly, with Your divine favor resting upon them. May they experience Your calming presence, even in the midst of their workload, so they are not overwhelmed but instead empowered by Your strength. "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved" (Psalm 55:22). We ask that You grant them wisdom to make good and righteous decisions, for "if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" (James 1:5).
Father, we lift up the situations at work that have been weighing on their heart. We ask that You intervene and bring resolution quickly, with positive outcomes that glorify Your name. May Your hand be evident in every detail, and may Your peace reign in their workplace. We also pray for the waiver process in January, asking that You go before them, removing any obstacles and smoothing the path ahead. "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this" (Psalm 37:5).
Lord, we pray for guidance as they seek a place to worship You in spirit and in truth. May they find a church family that is grounded in Your Word, where they can grow in faith, serve with joy, and be encouraged in their walk with You. "Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching" (Hebrews 10:24-25). May they feel Your presence in a special way as they gather with fellow believers to worship You.
We rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to grip their heart, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that You are with them always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20). May they walk in the confidence of Your promises, knowing that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Heavenly Father, we ask that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guiding their steps and filling their heart with Your peace. May they rest in You, trusting that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen them for the tasks ahead, and may they find rest in Your presence. We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
