We stand with you in prayer for your son, trusting in the power of Jesus' name to intercede on his behalf. Let us come together in unity for your son's financial situation, career, and future marriage.
Firstly, we address the debt and anxiety your son is experiencing. We are reminded in Matthew 6:25-34 (WEB) not to be anxious for our lives, as our heavenly Father knows we need all these things. Instead, we should seek first God's Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to us as well. Therefore, let us pray that your son fixes his eyes on God, trusting Him to provide for all his needs and remove any anxiety he may have. We believe in Jesus' name, that God will provide a way out of the debt and guide him to be a wise steward of his finances.
We praise God for blessing your son with a terrific job. We pray for favor and wisdom to go before him that he might have long-term stability, fair raises, and that he increases in skill and knowledge at his workplace. Proverbs 22:29 (WEB) says, Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will stand before kings. He won't stand before obscure men. We pray this for your son. We agree in Jesus' name. We pray also that his work will be a place for him to be salt and light in the world and a ministry door to share the gospel with co-workers.
We pray that God fills your son with His peace that passes all understanding in Jesus' name, and that He protects his mind, body, and health according to Psalm 91. We pray also that God surrounds him with good God-believing and living people (1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB).
Regarding your son's desire for marriage and children, we encourage him to trust in God's timing and seek God's will for his life. Psalm 37:4 (WEB) says, Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. We pray that God brings a godly wife into your son's life, someone who knows and lives for Jesus first. We pray that they both grow in the faith and love of Christ, and that they become one in Him. We pray that your son is a blessing to his wife and children and is a great husband and father as God intends, one that is not passive, but has grit and the backbone to lead his family.
Finally, we notice that the prayer request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Word of God says in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Also in Acts 4:12, there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
Father God, we come before You, lifting up this son before Your throne of grace. We trust Your love and faithfulness in his life. We ask that You forgive any sins he may have committed and guide him in the path everlasting. We speak debt cancellation, financial provision, favor, and divine connections in the workplace, healing, and relationships. We pray that he is faithful to the wife of his youth and that they are a blessing to their children. We pray that he is a man of God who is a pillar in the church and a testimony of God's goodness. In Jesus' name, we pray and believe.
