Lord, I pray for Edith that you would help her stay sober. That you would bring passion and purpose to her life. I pray that she would go back to school and have the desire to make her and her son's life better. She is going through a lot right now but I ask that you protect her from all that could harm her or deceive her in any way. I haven't given up on her, even though, at times, I've wanted to do just that. However, something in my heart won't let me. I do love her very much.

At some point in the future, if it is Your will, I pray that you would bring us together.
