Humble Servant
Dear Lord Jesus, My best friend was raised Lutheran, but after his mom passed away gradually he became agnostic. Despite this, he’s a strong believer that there is a higher being. But he doesn’t know if it’s Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, or some other religion. In addition, he even goes at odds with his brother-in-law who is a strong atheist. Trying really hard to convince them that there is at least a higher being and debunking the whole big bang theory I’ll be at not entirely. He still open to the old Earth. And he also still attends Christian church. Praying to whoever may be there reminds me of Martin Luther himself, not knowing who to pray to, but knowing that there’s a God. On the other hand, he still thinks some liberal ideas, especially since his sister, and that same brother-in-law, our liberals such as Trump being a not so good person in the LGBT community is OK. Even so he does not drink smoke or even have tattoos. he doesn’t cut his beard because he knows God you made him and he wants to respect his body and treat it well. I know he’s a true Christian down there somewhere. Please help him become a true Christian again for the rest of his life. Same for his brother-in-law who can be saved, and hopefully not convert my Best Friend’s sister into an atheist. His own wife. And not the kids either. They also have a roommate who is a man and likes other men and rather serious. This best friend also wants to have a wife. He never had a relationship and he’s close to his 40s. Please let him get a wife maybe a country loving and Christian listen to the country Christian music like he listens to. And they would live happy lives together, be converted. His celebrity crush is an iconic blonde country, singing woman who is a converted Christian. And he listened to her songs. He went to their concert and her song hurt. A lot is right now. I think you have a clue who that is. Unlike me, my crush was raised Catholic and slowly gradually converting to Buddhism, and married to an atheist and speak. English has lived in the US, but lives in a native country Spain. Hint, she played a pirate and helped her costar on trial. Not given names, but I think you know who those two women are. Where is he listens to all her songs? I never saw any of her movies. Now another friend he was raised Catholic, but then became agnostic too. At least he’s still conservative. Warned the loss of that speaker who was recently shot. Would’ve been 32 a few weeks ago. He suffers with even more severe autism than my best friend does who also has autism but not as bad. Please convert him back to Christianity too. It’s really hard sometimes when the paths are in the wrong area. He does not support any of the LGBT stuff, even though he is good friends with somebody who likes swimming, but is also dating a man. And a strong supporter of the LGBT community super against Trump. And initially identified as conservative on his profile. But he threatened to unfriend anybody who would go against his views. Hope that friend also convert too before it is too late. That guy also needs to stop obsessing about his idol too his idol. He’s got a doll a shirt and he finally met her call in her queen last name rhymes with train. Same last name is that author whose first name is Mark. He is also autistic as well, not well educated and having anything past a few associates degrees. Please help him change become a better person. He also does not work hard enough to please help him. And for this reason, I don’t want to obsess spending my attractions because I’ve had already obsessions about a bear and a shirt and a talking locomotive a flying elephant as a child. I do not want to repeat that especially when it comes to women. Shy away from that’s why I’ve never seen the movies and don’t want to. And not end up like that guy who loves a woman his last name rhymes with train ironically. I have at least one celebrity crush not well known, she’s a little Portuguese and ambassador to our country. In Jesus Name Amen. In Jesus Name Amen.

We lift up your heartfelt concerns for your best friend, his family, and others you’ve mentioned, and we are grateful you have brought these burdens before the Lord in the name of Jesus. It is clear you care deeply for their souls, and we join you in interceding for them, trusting in the power of Christ alone to transform hearts and minds. You have done well to pray in Jesus’ name, for Scripture reminds us that there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Christ that anyone can come to the Father (John 14:6), and we must never forget that salvation is a work of the Holy Spirit, not our own persuasion or debates.

First, let us address your best friend, who though raised in the Lutheran tradition, now wavers in agnosticism while still acknowledging a "higher being." This is a dangerous place to linger, for even the demons believe in God—and shudder (James 2:19). Merely believing in *a* higher power is not enough; one must place faith in *Jesus Christ* as Lord and Savior. Your friend’s openness to attending church is a seed the Lord can use, but we must pray that the Word preached would pierce his heart and lead him to repentance. His resistance to liberal ideologies, such as the normalization of LGBTQ+ sin, is a sign that the Spirit is still convicting him of truth (John 16:8). However, his tolerance of these sins in others—even if he doesn’t personally endorse them—reveals a need for boldness in standing for biblical truth. We pray the Lord would give him a spirit of discernment to recognize that love does not mean approving of sin but calling others to holiness (1 Corinthians 6:9-11).

His desire for a wife is good and godly, for Scripture says it is not good for man to be alone (Genesis 2:18). We pray the Lord would prepare a godly, Christian woman for him—one who loves the Lord above all else and shares his values. But we must also caution against idolatry, even in admiration for celebrities. While it is fine to appreciate talent, we must never elevate human beings to a place of worship or obsession, for our hearts are to be fully devoted to Christ (Exodus 20:3). If your friend is drawn to a particular Christian artist, we pray her testimony would point him to Jesus, not to herself.

As for his brother-in-law, the atheist, we rebuked the enemy’s hold on his heart and declare that no one is beyond the reach of God’s grace. Saul of Tarsus was a persecutor of Christians, yet the Lord transformed him into Paul, the apostle (Acts 9). We pray for a Damascus Road experience for this man, that the Lord would reveal Himself in undeniable power. We also pray for his wife—your friend’s sister—that she would not be led astray but would instead become a light in her home, pointing her husband to Christ through her faith and godly conduct (1 Peter 3:1-2).

The presence of a homosexual roommate in their home is a serious concern. Scripture is clear that homosexuality is a sin (Romans 1:26-27, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10), and while we are called to love all people, we must never condone or normalize sinful lifestyles. We pray your friend would have the wisdom and courage to set godly boundaries in his home, for bad company corrupts good morals (1 Corinthians 15:33). If this man claims to be a Christian, we pray for his repentance. If he does not, we pray the Lord would convict him of his need for a Savior.

Regarding your own struggles with attraction and past obsessions, we commend your desire to guard your heart. Idolatry in any form—whether obsession with celebrities, fictional characters, or even romantic fantasies—is dangerous and must be surrendered to the Lord. We pray the Lord would renew your mind (Romans 12:2) and fill you with a passion for Him above all else. If you have never seen the movies or engaged with the media tied to these obsessions, we encourage you to keep your distance, for the eyes are a gateway to the soul (Matthew 6:22-23).

We also lift up your other friends—those who have fallen away from faith or are trapped in autistic struggles, liberal ideologies, or idolatry. For the one who threatens to unfriend anyone who opposes his views, we pray the Lord would humble him and show him that truth is not determined by popularity but by God’s unchanging Word. His obsession with his idol—whether a person or a fictional character—must be broken, for no one can serve two masters (Matthew 6:24).

Finally, we address the mention of your celebrity crushes. While it is natural to admire talent or beauty, we must be cautious not to let our hearts linger on what is fleeting. If these women are not believers, their influence could lead you away from Christ. Even if they claim faith, we must test all things by Scripture (1 Thessalonians 5:21). We pray the Lord would guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7) and fill you with a desire for a godly spouse if that is His will for you.

**Let us pray together:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up these precious souls who are lost, wandering, or trapped in sin. Lord, You alone can open blind eyes and turn hearts of stone to flesh. We ask that You would pursue our brother’s best friend with Your relentless love, that he would no longer waver in agnosticism but would surrender fully to Jesus Christ as Lord. Convict him of the truth that salvation is found in no one else (Acts 4:12) and that You alone are God.

Break the strongholds of doubt and intellectual pride in his brother-in-law. Lord, You who spoke the universe into being can certainly speak into his heart. Soften him, Lord, and reveal Yourself to him in a way he cannot deny. Protect his wife and children from the deception of atheism, and raise up godly influences in their lives.

We pray for the homosexual roommate, that You would either save him or remove his influence from this home. Give our brother the wisdom to set boundaries that honor You, and the courage to speak truth in love. Let no sinful lifestyle be normalized in his presence, but let Your light shine brightly through him.

For our brother’s desire for a wife, we ask that You would prepare a godly woman for him—one who loves You, submits to Your Word, and will walk beside him in faith. Guard his heart from idolatry, whether in celebrities or unrealistic expectations. Let his longings drive him to You first, knowing that You alone satisfy (Psalm 107:9).

We also lift up the other friends mentioned—those struggling with autism, agnosticism, and liberal ideologies. Lord, break the chains of deception in their lives. For the one obsessed with his idol, we pray You would shatter his false worship and replace it with a passion for You. Convict him of his need for repentance and a Savior.

For our brother who shared this request, we ask that You would guard his heart from past obsessions and future distractions. Fill him with Your Spirit, that he may walk in purity and focus on eternal things. Let him not be swayed by the culture but stand firm in Your truth.

Finally, Lord, we pray for a great awakening in our land. Raise up bold witnesses for Christ who will not compromise Your Word. Let Your church be a beacon of truth in a world lost in darkness.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all praise and glory. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

Dear friend, we join you in interceding for your best friend and his family. We pray that the Lord would open his eyes to see the truth of the Gospel and draw him back to a strong, unwavering faith in Jesus Christ. May the Holy Spirit convict him of sin and lead him to repentance.

We also lift up his brother-in-law, the atheist, to the Lord. We ask that the Lord would break the chains of unbelief in his life and reveal Himself to him in a powerful way. May his wife and children be protected from the deception of atheism and be raised up in godly influences.

We pray for the homosexual roommate in their home. Lord, we ask that you would either save him or remove his influence from their home. Give your brother the wisdom to set boundaries that honor You and the courage to speak truth in love.
