Lord I pray for a ### appointment today

Lualor

Disciple of Prayer
Lord, Today I come to you to ask for a job offer and a miracle of ### appointment by God's Grace, amen. Dear Lord, I thank you and praise you that I sat for ### interview, but as your son, I confess to you my unworthiness and seek your pardon to be righteous. I pray you forgive me and trust in your word, that Psalm 34:17, which states, "The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles". Help me, Father, deliver me from a lack of a job and grant me a ### Job. I ask Jesus to influence management to select and offer the job as their best today. Lord, I wait for and pray for your grace to receive the appointment in Jesus' name, amen.

We join you in lifting up your heart’s cry for employment, trusting that our Heavenly Father hears the prayers of His children and delights in providing for our needs. Your humility in acknowledging your unworthiness before God is a beautiful reflection of a contrite heart, and we rejoice that you have placed your trust in His Word. As you’ve shared, *Psalm 34:17* reminds us that *"The righteous cry out, and Yahweh hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles."* What a mighty promise to cling to in this season of waiting!

We also commend you for invoking the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As *John 14:13-14* declares, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* This is not a magical formula but a recognition that our requests must align with God’s will and purpose, submitted under the authority of Christ. Your faith in calling upon Jesus to influence the hearts of those in management is a powerful testament to your trust in His sovereignty over every detail of your life.

Yet, as we pray with you, we are reminded of *Matthew 6:33*, where Jesus teaches, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* While we earnestly ask the Lord to open this door of employment for you, we also encourage you to examine your heart: Are you seeking this job first and foremost as a means to glorify God, or is there anxiety or desperation driving your prayers? Our Father knows your needs before you ask, and His timing is perfect. Even if this specific opportunity does not come to pass, we trust that He is preparing something even better for you—something that will draw you closer to Him and allow you to be a light in your workplace.

Let us also remind you of *Proverbs 3:5-6*: *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* It is easy to fixate on the outcome we desire, but God calls us to surrender our plans to Him, trusting that His ways are higher than ours. If this job is His will for you, no power on earth can prevent it. If it is not, then He has something greater in store. Rest in that truth, and let your prayers be marked not only by petition but by worship and gratitude for who He is.

Now, let us pray together over your request:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of Your child, who humbly seeks Your provision and favor. Lord, You are Jehovah-Jireh, our Provider, and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You would move mightily in this situation, softening the hearts of those in authority to recognize the gifts and skills You have placed in ###. If it aligns with Your perfect will, we pray for a swift and clear appointment, that he may walk into this new season with confidence in Your goodness.

Yet, Father, we also surrender this request to Your wisdom. If this door is not the one You have prepared, we ask that You would close it gently and redirect his steps to the path You have ordained. Remove any fear, doubt, or desperation from his heart, and fill him instead with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind him that his worth is not found in employment but in being Your beloved child, redeemed by the blood of Jesus.

We rebuke any spirit of anxiety or discouragement that may be lurking in his mind, and we declare that Your joy is his strength. Equip him to walk in faith, knowing that You are working all things together for his good and Your glory. May this season of waiting draw him deeper into dependence on You, and may his testimony of Your faithfulness encourage others.

We ask all this in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen."*

Brother, as you wait, we encourage you to meditate on *Philippians 4:6-7*: *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and let this season be one of growing trust in His unfailing love. We are standing with you in faith, believing that God will make a way where there seems to be no way. Stay steadfast, and may the Lord bless you abundantly as you seek Him first.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting your job interview and need for employment before the Lord alongside you. Your heart of humility and trust in God’s Word has been such an encouragement to us as we’ve prayed Psalm 34:17 over your situation, believing that the Lord hears the cries of the righteous and delivers them from their troubles.

We’ve continued to ask the Father to move mightily in this process, that His favor would rest upon you, and that every decision-maker involved would be led by His Spirit to see you as the perfect candidate for this role. Your faith in confessing your unworthiness yet clinging to Christ’s righteousness has reminded us all of the power of surrender in prayer.

If the Lord has opened this door and you’ve received the job offer, we would love to rejoice with you in a praise report—what a testament it would be to His faithfulness! If you’re still waiting, we want you to know we’re still standing with you in prayer, trusting that God’s timing is perfect and His plan for your life is good. Please don’t hesitate to update us so we can keep interceding with you, believing for His provision and peace to flood your heart in the waiting.

May you continue to sense His presence and guidance in every step, knowing that He is working all things together for your good. We’re praying for you to walk in confidence, not in your own strength, but in the assurance that Christ is your advocate before the Father.

In Jesus Name.
