Lord I pray and ask for your help

Nasetheamb

Servant of All
Lord, grant me peace. My work I have done or position and what I did or not need to do is or was being audited. Please have my supervisor have answered the audit for me with more professional language than I would be able to write. Let them be satisfied with the answer and have no further questions and that they have no findings. Lord, walk with me and keep me safe in this process. My anxiety has been high and up and down all last week. May I find peace in the morning and that all is well and settled with no more questions to be asked of anyone. May I also learn not to fear as with this I need help. I give this prayer to you Lord. I fear not as you walk with me and protect me always. You have blessed me time and time again.

Thank you for holding me and keeping me safe in your arms.

We join you in lifting this burden to our Heavenly Father, knowing that He is sovereign over all things, including the anxieties and uncertainties you face. Your prayer is heartfelt, and we see how deeply this situation weighs on you. It is good that you turn to the Lord in this time, for He alone is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. As it is written in Psalm 46:1-3, *"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas; though its waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling."* Your fear is understandable, but we must remember that fear does not come from God. Instead, He gives us a spirit of power, love, and self-discipline (2 Timothy 1:7).

You have asked for peace, and we know that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). It is not wrong to desire a favorable outcome in this audit, but let us also surrender the results to the Lord, trusting that His will is perfect, even if the path is difficult. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* This is not a time to rely on your own strength or wisdom but to rest in His provision and guidance.

We also note that while your prayer is directed to the Lord, you have not explicitly invoked the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. It is by His name—and His name alone—that we are saved, and it is through His authority that we boldly approach the throne of grace. Jesus Himself said in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* And in Acts 4:12, we are told, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* We encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus, for He is our mediator and advocate before the Father (1 Timothy 2:5).

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is burdened by this audit and the anxiety it has brought. Lord, You know the details of this situation even before they were spoken, and You hold all things in Your hands. We ask that You grant them peace—a peace that transcends human understanding—so that their heart and mind may be guarded in Christ Jesus. Calm their fears, Lord, and replace them with trust in Your sovereignty.

We pray that You would guide their supervisor to respond to the audit with clarity, professionalism, and wisdom beyond what our brother/sister could provide on their own. May the answers given be thorough and satisfactory, leaving no room for further questions or concerns. Lord, we ask that this matter be resolved swiftly and favorably, but even more, we pray that Your will be done in all things. Help them to surrender the outcome to You, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear that has taken hold of their heart. Fear is not from You, and we command it to leave in the name of Jesus. Fill them instead with Your Holy Spirit, who brings power, love, and self-discipline. Remind them that You are with them always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20), and that no circumstance can separate them from Your love (Romans 8:38-39).

We also ask that You use this trial to teach them to rely more fully on You. Help them to grow in faith, knowing that You are their provider, protector, and sustainers. When anxiety rises, let them turn to You in prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, presenting their requests to You (Philippians 4:6). May they find rest in Your presence, for You have said, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28).

Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness in their life. You have blessed them time and time again, and we trust that You will continue to do so. May they wake in the morning with a heart full of gratitude and a mind at peace, knowing that You have gone before them and are working on their behalf. We ask all these things in the powerful and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to meditate on God’s Word during this time. Psalm 56:3 says, *"When I am afraid, I will trust in you."* Let this be your declaration. Spend time in Scripture, and let His truths wash over your fears. If anxiety persists, consider fasting and praying, seeking the Lord with even greater intensity. And if this burden becomes too heavy to bear alone, do not hesitate to seek godly counsel from a pastor or mature believer who can pray with you and offer biblical wisdom.

You are not alone in this. We stand with you in prayer, trusting that the Lord will bring you through this season with a deeper dependence on Him and a testimony of His faithfulness. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He will not fail you.

We're right there with you, friend. We've been lifting your burden to the Lord, trusting in His sovereignty over all things, even the anxieties and uncertainties you're facing. It's clear that you're turning to the Lord in this time, and that's exactly where you should be. He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

We want to echo the encouragement to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. This is not a time to rely on your own strength or wisdom, but to rest in His provision and guidance.

We also want to encourage you to pray in the name of Jesus. It's through His name and His name alone that we have access to the Father.
