Lord I need a miracle

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Dear Heavenly Father This evening I come to you in the name of Jesus. I declare that you are King and Lord over all the earth and all the heavens. Bless and honour your name. Forgive me where I have erred and sinned in word, thought, actions or deed, according to your word in 1 John 1:9 which states: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." Thank you for the gift of life and Your presence in my life. The bible declares in James 1:17 that Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. I humbly come before your presence according to Your word in John 14:13-14 that promises "And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it" . Your word also says in Matthew 17: 20 He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” This evening I come before You believing firstly that you know the very nature of my prayer and then also praying, believing that I receive. We were conned out of R###,###,###.## rand via a business deal. We are now in such deep trouble and call upon Your name this evening for a miracle concerning our situation today ###. I know that You will never leave us nor forsake us. Please make a way in the wilderness. Please do not let the waters overflow us. Please be with us in the fire. We ask, believing we receive in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen

We join with you in this cry for a miracle and we thank you for coming so humbly and biblically before the Father in the name of Jesus. We are moved by how you have anchored your prayer in the Word, confessing sin, giving thanks, and declaring His kingship over all the earth and heavens. We stand in agreement with you that He is faithful and just to forgive when we confess, as it is written in 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. And we rejoice that you remember that every good and perfect gift is from above, as James 1:17 says Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.

We hear the deep distress of being conned out of such a large sum through a business deal and now facing deep trouble. The Lord sees the injustice done to you and He knows the very nature of your prayer even before you speak it. We cling with you to His promise in Hebrews 13:5 for he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you, and to Isaiah 43:2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you. You asked Him to make a way in the wilderness, and we join our faith to yours for that very promise in Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Do you not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

We also want to gently encourage you concerning the precious promises you quoted from John 14:13-14 Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it, and Matthew 17:20 if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, Move from here to there, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. These are true and powerful, and we believe with you for the impossible. At the same time we remember that our asking in His name means asking according to His will and for His glory, trusting His perfect wisdom and timing even as we ask boldly. Our faith is not in the size of our faith but in the greatness of our God, and we know that He works all things for good for those who love Him as Romans 8:28 says We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him first, to cast all your anxiety on Him, and to pursue wise and godly counsel in the practical matters as well. While we pray for a miracle of restoration and provision, we also pray for justice to be done in a righteous way and we leave vengeance to the Lord, as Romans 12:19 says Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. If there are lawful and proper avenues to report the fraud and seek restitution, we encourage you to pursue them with integrity, and to seek counsel from mature believers and trustworthy advisors. Remember also the promise in Philippians 4:19 My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and in Philippians 4:6-7 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We pray together now for you.

Father, in the mighty name of Jesus we come before Your throne of grace on behalf of our brother and sister who have been wronged and are in deep financial trouble. You are King and Lord over all, You do not change, and You see what was taken through deceit. Lord we ask You to make a way where there seems to be no way, to be with them as they pass through these waters and this fire, and to let Your peace guard their hearts. We ask for Your miraculous provision, for wisdom for every next step, for favor with any authorities or persons who can help bring justice, and for the conviction and repentance of those who did this wrong. Supply every need according to Your riches in glory, restore what has been lost if it be Your will, and above all glorify Your name through this trial. Strengthen their faith though it be small as a mustard seed, help them to rest in Your unfailing presence, and let this mountain be moved for Your glory. We thank You that You hear us when we ask in Jesus name, and we trust You to answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.

We hear how heavy this is for you. To be conned out of such a large amount through a business deal and now face deep trouble leaves anyone feeling overwhelmed, and we are grateful you brought it honestly before the Lord.

In a crisis like this both the real loss you have already suffered and the worries about what might happen next can feel equally crushing. It can help to name them separately with someone you trust, so you can face what is actually in front of you today without carrying every fear about tomorrow at once.

When the pressure is so high it is easy to try to carry it alone. We encourage you, alongside continuing prayer, to reach out soon to a trusted, qualified professional for guidance on your options, such as an attorney or legal aid service and your bank about reporting the fraud, and to let a pastor or mature believer walk with you as you make decisions. Bring all paperwork and keep a clear record of conversations. Having another set of eyes can bring clarity and help protect you from hasty choices under stress.

We are standing with you in prayer.

Father, in Jesus name we lift this person to You. You see the loss and the burden they carry tonight. Grant wisdom for each next step, provision for daily needs, peace that steadies their heart, and people around them who will support them with integrity. Lead them according to Your will and keep them close to You through this trial. Amen.

Your cry has been heard, and your burden has been laid before the Lord with many tears. To be wronged and brought into deep trouble through the deceit of others is a bitter trial, and to feel the waters rising and the fire drawing near is to know what it is to walk through the wilderness. Yet you have done well to turn at once to the throne of grace, to confess sin according to that faithful promise in 1 John 1:9, and to plead the name of Jesus.

You have quoted precious words, that every good and perfect gift is from above from the Father of lights who does not change like shifting shadows, and that whatsoever we ask in the name of Jesus, the Father may be glorified in the Son. Hold fast to these words, but remember also what they mean. The power to save and to deliver does not lie in the person who asks, nor in the strength of his faith, it lies wholly in Jesus Himself. In order to salvation there must be faith, but the working of Christ is not dependent upon anything in man. Our Lord did nothing but speak, and the wonder was accomplished. Faith as a mustard seed is enough not because our faith is great, but because our Lord is great. To ask in His name is not to claim whatever our hearts desire, but to ask as He Himself would ask, for that which will glorify the Father and accord with His holy will.

Perhaps some imagine that if they could see a miracle worked, they would believe and be comforted. But the objective of every miracle is to reveal more fully the power and authority of our Lord's Word and to let us see that His teaching has an omnipotent force about it. Consider then the miracle of the loaves, lest you fall into the same trouble as the disciples who considered it not. Had they considered it they would have known that Christ is grand in emergencies, and that He displays His power spontaneously, without need of pressing or even prompting. Consider the miracle of the loaves as it has transpired in your own life story and be not afraid, whatever your present trouble may be. Has He not fed you, kept you, forgiven you, and brought you hitherto? He who multiplied bread in the wilderness is still Lord in the wilderness where you now stand.

Is there anything in this miracle that can comfort you? There is much. That same Jesus who commanded unclean spirits and they obeyed, who took bread and blessed it and the multitude was fed, lives and reigns and hears prayer. Nobody can work this mighty miracle of mercy but the Lord Jesus Christ, yet He can do it more swiftly than we can speak of it. What a miracle is His love, which has loved us into faith at the foot of the Cross. A Christian is a miracle, a mass of miracles, and when he gets to Heaven he will be a miracle of miracles. This is the first and greatest miracle you need, that your soul is safe in Him.

We must also speak plainly concerning riches. Such is the anxiety of great wealth, and such is the loss when it is taken, that apart from the grace of God a man may gain the whole world and yet lose his own soul. Estimate that gold at what price you like, if you put the soul as a debt against it you will find there is a fearful loss. The soul is capable of Heaven, and its loss is a dreadful and terrific thing. Therefore while we pray with you for deliverance from this deep trouble, we pray far more that you may not lose the profit of knowing Christ, which no sum of rand can buy and no fraud of man can steal.

We do pray for you now, that the Lord who has promised never to leave you nor forsake you will be with you in the waters that they overflow you not, and with you in the fire that you are not consumed, that He will make a way where there seems to be no way, that He will give you wisdom for every practical step, honest counsel, help from His people, and daily bread. We ask that He will guard your heart from despair and from the temptation to make haste dishonestly to recover what was lost, and that He will keep you looking to Jesus, who is your true treasure.

Cast this mountain upon Him. Trust not in the measure of your faith, but in the might of the Miracle Worker. He who has forgiven your sins and purified you from all unrighteousness will not cast away a confiding child. May the Lord give you quietness to wait upon Him, strength to do what is right in the days ahead, and peace that passes understanding, till you see with eyes of faith that whether He restores what was taken or supplies by another and better way, He remains King and Lord over all the earth and all the heavens. Amen.
