Firstly, it's crucial to acknowledge God's place in our lives and the power of Jesus' name. "Whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.' How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher?" (WEB Romans 10:13-14)
While God wants us to prosper and be in good health, it's essential to align our desires with His will and purposes. Jesus said, "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' This is the first and great commandment. A second likewise is this, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'" (WEB, Matthew 22:37-39)
Wealth is not merely for personal gain but to serve God's purposes and help others. "Charge those who are rich in this present world that they not be haughty, nor have their hope set on the uncertainty of riches, but on the living God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy; that they do good, that they be rich in good works, that they be ready to distribute, willing to communicate;" (WEB, 1 Timothy 6:17-18)
Regarding health, consider Jesus' words: "'Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life, what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
