Beloved of All
Lord I lift up James to you. He is a good friend to a lot of people. He was injured in the military and they aren't taking care of him. Make them take care of him Lord and if it be your will heal him. Lord you know his heart and the hearts of a lot of people that are going through what he goes through. Isn't it legal to smoke a little marijuana for pain? Don't let anyone judge him or anyone else for that or anything else. Do we not know what severe pain is like? I think we all do in one way or another. We could imagine a tooth ache in our ankle, foot or back that lingers on and on until we die. Does the Word teach us that leaves are for the healing of the nations? Are not all things created by God for our good? Could you have a drink if you were in so much pain you were ready to perish? (Pr 31:6) I only see James as a neighbor but I have read prayer requests that shows people seeming to condemn their husbands and wives for drinking or smoking, give them love, forgiveness and compassion for their spouses with pains, heavy hearts and weaknesses. Help us see ourselves instead of others. Would you really want to condemn Christ or any part of His creation? Is not everything a part of God? Does he not fill heaven and earth, what house could we make for him? If I make my bed in hell behold thou, another version says are you not there? (Ps 139:8) Why should Christ save you if you found a weakness in your spouse and hate for it? Take away our ability to judge anyone for anything Lord, help us be our spouses, friends and families strength and give us all the forgiveness of Christ we need to have toward each other. Help James and all of us in our relationships with our wives, family, friends and co workers in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth we pray, amen.
