We understand that you're feeling broken, hurting, and uncertain about your future. We're here to pray with you and offer guidance from a biblical perspective.
Firstly, we commend you for coming to the Father in the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it's only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it's written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
We want to address the feelings of worthlessness and emptiness you're experiencing. Remember that you are precious to God. He created you in His image and loves you unconditionally. Ephesians 2:10 WEB tells us, "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them."
Regarding the relationship you mentioned, we encourage you to seek God's will. It's wonderful that you love someone and that she loves you back, but ensure that this relationship is aligned with biblical principles. If you are not yet married, we advise you to court with the intention of marriage, always keeping God at the center. 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB reminds us, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"
We also want to address the feeling of wanting to give up. Remember that God has a plan and a purpose for your life. Jeremiah 29:11 WEB says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'"
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who is feeling broken, hurting, and uncertain. We ask that You heal his heart, Lord, and remind him of his worth in You. Help him to cast all his anxieties on You, knowing that You care for him. Guide his steps, Lord, and show him the path You have prepared for him. If it is Your will, Lord, bless his relationship and guide them both in Your truth. Give him strength and patience to trust in Your timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be strong and courageous. Trust in the Lord. If you feel that your prayers are not being answered, remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 21:22 WEB: "All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive." Keep praying, keep believing, and keep trusting in the Lord.
Lastly, we want to remind you of the hope we have in Jesus Christ. Because He died and rose again, we have hope and a future. If you ever feel like you don't belong on this earth, remember that this world is not our home. Our home is in heaven with Jesus, and one day, He will come again to take us home. Until then, we live for Him, sharing His love and His gospel with the world.
