Lord, I ask you to help me break down the barrier of competency/behavioral-based questions raised in interviews, which is my issue raised by prospective employers.

The purpose of this type of interview is to demonstrate what I have done, not that I can do something. It is the type of interview that forces you to answer questions that demonstrate your competences (knowledge, skills, and abilities) by giving specific examples from your past experiences.

Lord, you know of my daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly struggles while walking through the unemployment wilderness, finished career-wise in the eyes of many prospective employers and sitting down in my pride and shame.

Lord, you know that I still remain shackled with the chains of pride and shame despite my attempts to find suitable work even after over 2 years with no sign of any breakthrough.

Even though I am not finished in your eyes, Lord, this is my last opportunity to escape and find true freedom. There are no second chances after this if there remains no breakthrough in this area. So I leave my prayer request at your feet. Amen

A Prayer For You: God I ask You in Jesus' name bless me with the desires of my heart that is the will of God for my life and the lives of those I pray for. God help me to always be aware and walk in the truth, faith, discernment, hope, and love of Your Word and presence in my life. God place Your angels all around me to cover and protect me from all sickness, evil, hurt, harm, danger, accidents, the plans of my enemies, and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God deal with all my enemies according to Your Word. God all that I have asked of You in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of this prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. And God please strengthen each of us to always walk in the character and habits of Christ Jesus. Let us all live our lives for Your glory and good pleasure. There is nothing more I can do if the Lord is still watching me and is with me in spirit but there is no great healing and restoration in mind, body, and soul from Him as my God and my source.

My own trauma of unemployment, physical pain, and stiffness experienced during the last two years can only be erased by Him.

I am still dealing with the fallout…

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
