Lord, I ask you for your love and comfort. This is my family's first Christmas without my grandpa. May God rest his soul. He fought a long battle for years. It started with shingles, dementia, pneumonia twice, prostate cancer, and a few more things. God, I know you are taking care of my papa. He worked and supported and held our family together. My grandparents were a blessing and together for 65 years. His father made him start to learn things at age 8 and how to make money. Lord, you have blessed my papa with a long life, and he was honored by many and served our country. Bless his soul, may he rest in peace. Comfort my grandma on Christmas for she is very lonely without him after 65 years of marriage. Send your Holy Spirit to our family and give us a miracle to hold us together for we have been very distant and arguing all the time. Grandpa was the strong one that helped and held us together. We need you, Lord; we are all falling apart. Thank you, I love you.
