Lord,

I am tired. I have done everything I could to keep a roof over my family's head, keep food in the fridge, keep my loved ones happy and give all that I can. My bills are mounting up and I have no idea how to pay them. I have done things I'm not proud of for the sake of keeping things afloat. I am in the process of getting another job just to make end meet. I truly don't know how much longer I can keep all of this up, as this has been the case for the past ### years. I know that things happen on your timetable and not mine, and that ultimately, you do what is best and don't give us more than we can bear.... I just ask to give us the knowledge, courage and strength to keep going - even though I can't see that light at the end of the tunnel. Forgive me for my transgressions and faults and give me a sign that I am still in your favor and that I'm on the right track. In your name, I praise you. Amen.
