Lord I am lifting up a young neighbor that is struggling with drugs and alcohol. I dont know her well but have tried to speak words of encouragment to her on occasions. Her name is Renee. She is falling into harder drugs now. Give her spiritual eyesight so that she can see the trickery in this world and turn away from it. Remove all the enablers from her life. Bring good, God loving people her way and surround her with your protection always. Deliver her from any evil that is trying to hinder, harm or destroy her. Remove any strongholds that might exist. Fill her with maturity and wisdom. Give her a renewed mind and spirit . Amen

Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit.
