Pray with me please 10/22/24

Dear heavenly father in the name of Jesus I come to you standing in the gap thanking you for this opportunity to pray and for giving me the mind to pray. Grateful for your wonderful blessings.

Father God, I am standing in the gap for my loved ones.

You said that the effectual and fervent prayer of the righteous avail much.

Lord, I am calling out their names to you, ### Sr, Jr, and ### ###, ### Sr, Jr, and ### ###. ###, ###, ### and ###. ### and ###. ### and ###. Also for the person reading and their entire generation.

Lord, I am asking you to meet each one of us where we are and our daily goings, experiences, encounters, thoughts, dreams, and daily doings. I am asking you to send wind of the Spirit to each one of us that we may receive that hunger and thirst after righteousness.

That we may be convicted in our hearts of wrongdoing and learn the error of our ways Lord, that you bring them to the forefront of our minds the things that we are doing that are displeasing in your sight.

Asking you to order our steps, go before us and make our pathway straight. Asking you to be a lamp to our feet in the light to our pathway.

I am asking that you align us that we may hear the voice of God.

Save us from ourselves and keep us safe from danger seen and unseen.

No weapon formed against us shall prosper, including the weapons we form against ourselves, knowingly and unknowingly.

Asking you Lord to fix our mouths to call out to you for deliverance, salvation, guidance, clarity, direction, prosperity, deliverance from addiction and sexual immorality, for success, and right standing. Lord, let us not rest until we get it right. Not one soul shall be lost, but all of us coming to the knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Lord, let it have a domino effect that me. and may see and glorify the father, which is in heaven because of the change that is taken place in us. Bring us out of darkness into your marvelous light

We join you in this fervent and righteous prayer, lifting up every name you’ve mentioned—known and unknown—before the throne of grace, where our Great High Priest, Jesus Christ, intercedes for us. Your heart for intercession is a beautiful reflection of Christ’s love, and we stand with you in the gap, knowing that the Lord hears the cries of His people and acts on their behalf.

You have rightly declared the power of prayer from James 5:16, which reminds us, *"The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."* We claim this promise over every soul you’ve named, trusting that God is moving mightily in their lives, even now. Your prayer aligns with Scripture in so many ways—seeking conviction of sin, hunger for righteousness, and alignment with God’s will. These are the cries of a heart that desires to see God’s kingdom come and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

We especially lift up your plea for deliverance from addiction and sexual immorality, for these are bonds that the enemy uses to ensnare God’s people. The Word tells us in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, *"Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."* This is a call to holiness, and we pray that every stronghold of temptation would be broken by the power of the Holy Spirit. May those bound by these sins find repentance, freedom, and restoration in Jesus’ name.

You’ve also prayed for salvation, and we echo this with urgency, for there is no greater need than for souls to come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* We pray that every person you’ve named would encounter the saving grace of Jesus, that their hearts would be softened to receive Him as Lord and Savior. May none be lost, but all be drawn into the light of His truth.

Your prayer for protection and guidance is rooted in Psalm 119:105, *"Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path."* We ask the Lord to go before each of these loved ones, ordering their steps and shielding them from the seen and unseen dangers of this world. May they walk in wisdom, discernment, and the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of knowledge (Proverbs 9:10).

We also agree with your plea for prosperity—not as the world defines it, but as God does: a prosperity of soul, of spiritual richness, and of alignment with His purposes. May they seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to them (Matthew 6:33). And may this transformation in their lives be so evident that it creates a domino effect, drawing others to glorify God because of the change they see.

Finally, we thank you for ending this prayer in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As you’ve declared, it is in His name that we find salvation, deliverance, and victory. Let us never forget the power of that name, for Philippians 2:9-11 tells us, *"Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."*

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the privilege of intercession. You have called us to stand in the gap for these beloved souls, and we do so with boldness, knowing that You hear and answer prayer. Lord, we ask that You meet each one where they are—whether in their daily routines, their thoughts, their dreams, or their struggles. Send the wind of Your Spirit to stir within them a hunger and thirst for righteousness that cannot be satisfied by anything but You.

Convict hearts of sin, Lord, and bring to light the things that displease You. Break the chains of addiction, sexual immorality, and every form of bondage that seeks to destroy Your people. Align their steps with Your Word, and let Your truth be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path. We pray for salvation to sweep through every generation represented here, that not one soul would be lost but all would come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Protect them, Father, from the schemes of the enemy and from the weapons they may unknowingly wield against themselves. Fix their mouths to call out to You for deliverance, guidance, and right standing. Let them not rest until they are fully surrendered to You.

May this prayer create a ripple effect, Lord, that others would see the change in them and glorify You. Bring them out of darkness and into Your marvelous light, where they may walk in freedom, purpose, and victory.

We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Let Your will be done, and let Your kingdom come in their lives. Amen.

Dear friend, we join you in lifting up these precious ones before our Father's throne. We've been moved by your heartfelt prayer and want to echo some of your petitions, adding a few more aspects we feel led to intercede for.

Firstly, we pray for a spirit of discernment to be poured out upon them. We ask that the Holy Spirit would open their eyes to see the truth, helping them discern between good and evil, right and wrong. We pray that they would be sensitive to the promptings of the Spirit, recognizing His voice and following His lead in their daily lives.

We also lift up a prayer for a spirit of wisdom and understanding. We ask that God would grant them wisdom to navigate through the challenges they face, understanding to grasp His will for their lives, and discernment to make wise decisions that align with His purposes.

Additionally, we pray for a spirit of humility. We ask that they would have a humble heart, always ready to learn, grow, and change. We pray that they would be teachable, open to correction, and willing to admit their mistakes. We believe that humility is the key to true growth and intimacy with God.

Lastly, we pray for a spirit of boldness and courage. We ask that they would be bold in their faith, standing firm in the face of adversity and persecution. We pray that they would have the courage to speak up for what is right, to defend the weak, and to share the love of Christ with those around them.

We pray all these in Jesus' mighty name, amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
