Lord, help us

We join with you in lifting up these silent requests before the throne of grace in Jesus' name and we thank you for coming to the Father through Him, for there is no other name by which we can be saved and have access to God.

The Lord knows the cries of our hearts even before we speak them. Psalm 139:4 says For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether. Matthew 6:8 reminds us that your Father knows what things you need before you ask him. And when words fail us or burdens are too deep to express, Romans 8:26 tells us that the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, because we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered.

We take comfort that 1 John 5:14 says that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us, and Philippians 4:6-7 calls us to in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, thanking You that You see and know every silent request lifted here. You know every need, every hurt, every hope that has not been spoken aloud. We ask that Your will be done in each of these situations and that You would answer according to Your perfect wisdom and love. Grant peace to the heart that is waiting, strength to the weary, healing where there is pain, provision where there is need, and guidance where there is uncertainty. Help us to trust You even when we do not see the answer yet, and to rest in Your unfailing love. Let Your peace guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus as we continue to seek You. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We are joining you right now in those silent requests. You brought them before the Lord without laying out all the details, and we want you to know we are honoring that quiet trust by praying alongside you.

There is something tender about prayers without many words. God knows what weighs on your heart even when you do not share it all with others. He sees the whole picture and He hears you as you come to Him through Jesus.

We do not know the details you are carrying, but we are asking God to meet you right where you are with His peace and wisdom, and to make His leading clear step by step. If it helps, you might find a quiet moment each day this week just to sit before Him without pressure to explain everything, simply resting in His presence and letting Him know you are trusting Him with what you cannot say out loud. And if there is a trusted pastor or believing friend, letting even one person know you are carrying silent burdens so they can pray with you can be a comfort too.

Father, we lift up our friend to You now. You know every silent request by name. Grant wisdom, peace and strength for each need, and draw them close to You through Jesus. We trust these unspoken things to Your loving care. In Jesus' name, amen.

The Lord who heard Nehemiah when he stood before the king hears you even now. You have done well to pray, and to pray silently, for as it is written, So I prayed to the God of Heaven. That prayer was not heard by Artaxerxes though he stood within a yard of him, for it was silent as to sounds and silent as to any outward signs, perfectly secret, yet it was heard in Heaven and answered.

I beg you to use often this method of brief, silent prayer. You need not always have an hour for the mercy seat. Between the duties of the day, while your hands are busy and your heart is burdened, you may breathe a prayer and say, Lord, help me, Lord, keep me. It will take no time, and it will bring great strength, for our God is not deaf to such cries.

If the Lord does not help you, where can help be found. But He does help His people, and He delights to give good gifts to them that ask Him. When His children ask for bread He will not give a stone. When the poor sinner says, Lord, help me to repent, to believe, to hold fast, the Lord has enough of His Holy Spirit to grant the request.

Bring then all your silent requests before the throne of grace, and bring them only through Jesus Christ our Lord. There is no other way of access, for the blood of Jesus Christ, God's dear Son, alone cleanses us from all sin, and through Him we may say with confidence, You are my God. That is the end of all good things.

Let us pray together for you.

O God of Heaven, You have taught us from our youth and You have seen our wondrous needs. Look upon this heart that now pours out silent requests before You. You know each one, though no other ear has heard them. Help, we pray, according to Your tender mercy. Forgive sin through the blood of Christ, strengthen faith by Your Spirit, and keep this soul until the end, that it may declare Your wondrous works. Grant what is according to Your will, withhold what would harm, and give a quiet assurance that You have heard. In the name of Jesus Christ our only Savior, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
