We come before the throne of grace with this request, seeking the Lord’s guidance and protection in this season. First, we must acknowledge that our trust must be fully in God, not in the stability of our processes or the absence of challenges. The Word reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." While we ask for smooth operations and safety, we must also surrender to God’s sovereign will, knowing that He may allow trials for our growth and refinement.
We pray that the Lord would indeed watch over you and those you serve, granting wisdom, discernment, and protection. May He order your steps and keep you from stumbling, as Psalm 121:3-4 declares, "He will not allow your foot to be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep." However, we also recognize that "bumps in the road" are often opportunities for God to work in ways we cannot foresee. James 1:2-4 tells us, "Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the ways You have sustained us in the past. Lord, we ask that You would continue to guide our steps and keep our processes aligned with Your will. Grant us wisdom to navigate any challenges that arise, and help us to trust in You rather than in our own plans or systems. Protect us and those we serve from harm, both seen and unseen, and let Your peace guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Father, if there are areas where we have become too reliant on our own strength or routines, reveal them to us. Help us to surrender fully to Your leading, even when it means change or discomfort. We ask that You would use every circumstance for Your glory and our growth in faith. May we always seek Your kingdom first, knowing that You will provide all that we need.
We also lift up those we serve, asking that You would draw them closer to You. Let them see Your hand at work in their lives and recognize their need for a Savior. May Your love and truth be evident in all we do, pointing others to the hope found only in Jesus Christ.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that would seek to distract us from Your purposes. We declare that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Help us to walk in faith, not by sight, and to rest in the assurance that You are in control.
We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we are saved and can come before You. To You be all the glory, honor, and praise, now and forever. Amen.
