Lord please have mercy and help me. Remove my neighbour upstairs. Let there be some peaceful person who will walk quietly and not like a bear and do all sorts of noises even at 3, 4 am. Lord I cannot take it any more. You must drastically intervene now!! I am losing sleep and I cannot work properly and I eat more when I don't sleep well. Lord help me.

We hear your distress and frustration, and we stand with you in seeking God’s peace and intervention in this difficult situation. The struggle with a disruptive neighbor is real, and the lack of rest is taking a toll on your well-being—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Let us bring this burden before the Lord together, trusting in His justice, mercy, and provision.

First, we must address the request to "remove" your neighbor. While we understand the depth of your frustration, Scripture teaches us to love our neighbors (Mark 12:31) and to pray for those who may trouble us (Matthew 5:44). This does not mean we ignore the wrongdoing or fail to seek resolution, but we must guard our hearts against bitterness or a desire for harm. Instead, let us pray for God’s wisdom in how to address the situation and for His hand to bring about change—whether through the neighbor’s heart, a change in circumstances, or even your own peace in the midst of it.

The Bible reminds us in Romans 12:18, *"If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men."* This verse acknowledges that peace is not always within our control, but we are called to do our part. Have you considered speaking with your neighbor in a spirit of gentleness and respect, explaining how the noise affects you? Proverbs 15:1 says, *"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."* If direct communication feels too difficult or unsafe, could you involve a mediator, such as a building manager or mutual acquaintance, to help facilitate a conversation?

We also encourage you to examine your heart and reactions. Are you harboring anger or resentment toward this neighbor? Ephesians 4:26-27 warns, *"Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil."* Unresolved anger can give the enemy a foothold in our lives, leading to further unrest. Let us pray for God to soften your heart and fill you with His peace, even in the midst of this trial.

Your lack of sleep and its effects on your health are serious concerns. The Lord cares deeply about your well-being, and we must also consider practical steps to protect your rest. Have you explored options such as noise-canceling devices, earplugs, or even speaking with a doctor about temporary solutions to help you sleep? While these may not solve the root issue, they can provide some relief as you seek God’s intervention.

Let us also pray for your neighbor. It is possible they are unaware of the disruption they are causing or may be struggling with their own issues that lead to such behavior. 1 Timothy 2:1-2 urges us to pray for all people, *"that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence."* We do not know their heart, but God does, and He can work in ways we cannot see.

Now, let us come before the Lord together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who is struggling with the noise and disruption caused by their neighbor. Lord, You see the sleepless nights, the frustration, and the toll this is taking on their body, mind, and spirit. We ask for Your peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Father, we pray for wisdom and courage to address this situation in a way that honors You. Give them the right words to speak, the right actions to take, and the right attitude to maintain.

Lord, we ask for Your intervention in this neighbor’s life. Soften their heart, open their eyes to the disruption they are causing, and lead them to change their ways. If it is Your will, bring about a resolution that restores peace—whether through a change in their behavior, a change in their living situation, or even a change in this dear one’s circumstances. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect plan.

Father, we also pray for protection over this one’s health. The lack of sleep is affecting their work, their eating habits, and their overall well-being. Lord, grant them rest, even in the midst of this trial. Help them to cast their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Strengthen their body, sharpen their mind, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

We rebuke any spirit of bitterness, anger, or resentment that may be taking root in their heart. Lord, cleanse them of any unforgiveness and fill them with Your love and grace. Help them to see this neighbor through Your eyes and to respond in a way that reflects Your character.

Finally, Lord, we ask for Your presence to be near. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Even in the darkest hours of the night, You are there, and Your peace is available to them. We trust in You, Lord, and we thank You for hearing our prayer. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue bringing this situation before the Lord daily, trusting that He is working even when you cannot see it. Psalm 34:17-18 assures us, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* You are not alone in this, and God sees your struggle. Hold fast to His promises, and lean on Him for strength each day.

Lord, we're right there with you, feeling your frustration with the constant noise from your upstairs neighbor. It's exhausting, isn't it? We've all been there, tossing and turning, longing for just a few hours of uninterrupted sleep. It's not fair, and it's certainly not fun. But remember, as followers of Jesus, we're called to respond with love and patience, even in the face of such trying circumstances.

We've been thinking about this verse in Romans 5:3-4, "Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope." It's tough, but maybe this trial is an opportunity for you to grow in some way, to develop more patience, more understanding, more love even for this challenging neighbor.

Let's pray together for God's peace to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let's ask Him to give you wisdom and courage to approach this situation with kindness and respect. Maybe you could write a polite note or have a calm conversation with your neighbor, explaining how the noise affects you. Remember, Jesus told us to love our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:31).

And let's not forget to pray for your neighbor too. They might not realize the impact of their actions, or they might be dealing with their own struggles. Let's ask God to soften their heart and open their eyes to the disruption they're causing.

Lastly, let's trust in God's timing and plan. He sees your struggle, and He cares. He promises to be near to those who have a broken heart and saves those who have a crushed spirit (Psalm 34:18). So, let's keep bringing this situation before Him daily, leaning on Him for strength.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.
