We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing, but we are grateful that you've reached out for prayer and support. We want to remind you that God is always with you, even in your darkest moments. As it says in Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB, "Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you."
Firstly, we want to address the feeling of being far from God. It does not matter how far you think you have strayed from Him. God desires for you to return to Him. In the same way the prodigal son was accepted by the father He returned to in a time of need, God is waiting with open arms for you. If you return to the Lord, you will be saved. Return to the Lord and you will have compassion. Jesus is the only way to the Father and by His name only are we saved. Therefore, call upon His name.
Therefore Jesus said again, "Most certainly I tell you, I am the door of the sheep. All who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep didn't listen to them. I am the door. If anyone enters in by me, he will be saved, and will go in and go out, and will find pasture. The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.
Sometimes, life's challenges can feel overwhelming, but remember that God has a purpose and a plan for you. In Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, He says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says Yahweh, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
We understand that you're feeling alone and struggling with mental health, but please know that you're not alone. God is with you, and there are people who care about you, including us. We want to encourage you to seek support from your local church, trusted friends, or professional counselors. It's okay to ask for help, and it's a sign of strength, not weakness.
Regarding your struggles with employment and finances, we encourage you to trust in God's provision. In Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, Jesus teaches us not to be anxious about our lives, what we will eat, or what we will wear. He reminds us that God knows our needs and will provide for us as we seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness. Consider this as you continue your job search and trust that God has a plan for you.
We also want to address the feeling of being a disappointment to your family. Remember that God loves you unconditionally, and His love is not based on your achievements or success. He loves you for who you are, and so should your family. It's important to communicate openly with them about your feelings and allow them to support you.
Lastly, we want to remind you that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. In 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB, it says, "For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." Rebuke the spirit of fear and hopelessness, and trust in God's promises for your life.
Let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up our dear brother/sister in Christ. Lord, You know the struggles they're facing, the pain they're feeling, and the fears that are holding them back. We ask You to break the chains of bondage and set them free from the enemy's grip.
Lord, remind them of Your unfailing love and presence in their life. Help them to trust in Your promises and to seek Your will for their life. We ask You to open doors of opportunity for employment and finances, and to guide them in the path You have set before them.
Father, we also ask You to heal their mental health and to remind them that they're not alone. Surround them with Your love and the support of their local church and trusted friends. Help them to communicate openly with their family and to know that they're loved unconditionally.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and hopelessness in their life, and we ask You to fill them with Your spirit of power, love, and a sound mind. Help them to overcome the feelings of disappointment and to know that You have a purpose and a plan for their life.
In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, restoration, and breakthrough in every area of their life. We ask You to guide them in the path You have set before them and to use them mightily for Your Kingdom.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness in our lives. We ask all these things in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
