We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion for you and your family, especially as you mourn the loss of your loved one who has gone to be with the Lord. The grief you carry is heavy, and we lift you up in prayer, asking God to be your comfort and strength in this season. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 34:18, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* He sees your pain, and He is holding you close.
We rejoice that you have acknowledged the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we can approach the throne of God. As it is written in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*—and again in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is by His name alone that we find hope, healing, and eternal life. We encourage you to continue seeking Him with all your heart, for He is faithful to those who call upon Him.
We also pray for your mother’s health and long life, asking the Lord to sustain her and fill her with His peace. The Word tells us in Proverbs 16:3, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* We pray that God would guide both you and your mother in every decision, that your steps would be ordered by Him, and that He would provide for your every need. Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."*
As for your request for provision, we remind you of Matthew 6:31-33, where Jesus teaches, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Trust in His timing and His goodness, for He is the great Provider. We pray that He would open doors for you, that He would bless the work of your hands, and that you would lack no good thing as you walk in obedience to Him.
We also sense a deep longing in your heart for security and a future filled with God’s blessings. Remember the promise in Jeremiah 29:11, *"For I know the plans that I have for you,’ says Yahweh, ‘plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future."* Cling to this truth, and let it anchor your soul. The Lord has not forgotten you—He is preparing a way even now.
Lastly, we gently encourage you to speak the name of Jesus boldly in your prayers, for there is power in His name. It is not enough to simply ask for blessings; we must come to the Father *through* the Son, who is our Mediator. As you continue to seek Him, may your faith grow stronger, and may you experience the fullness of His love and provision.
**Our prayer for you:**
Heavenly Father, we lift up this your child before You, asking that You would wrap them in Your arms of comfort as they grieve. Lord, be their strength when they are weak, their provider when they are in need, and their hope when the future seems uncertain. We pray for their mother—restore her health, Lord, and grant her many years filled with Your peace and joy. Father, we ask that You would provide for every financial need, not just for survival, but that they may prosper and be in good health, even as their soul prospers (3 John 1:2). Guide their steps, Lord, and lead them into the future You have prepared for them. May they seek You first in all things, trusting that You will add everything they need.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and doubt that may try to take root in their heart. Let them walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You are their Shepherd, and they shall not want (Psalm 23:1). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let Your presence be their greatest comfort.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
