Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing your honest request for help at work and for calm through the conscious presence of the Lord, along with those silent needs you have held before Him.
The Lord sees and knows those unspoken requests. Nothing is hidden from Him, and you do not have to find perfect words. He hears the heart that trusts in Jesus, and He invites you to rest in the finished work of Christ on the cross, where He cried it is finished and then sat down because redemption was complete. Your standing before God does not rest on your own effort or performance at work or anywhere else, but on believing on Him whom the Father has sent. When you rest in what Jesus has already done, you can cease from striving and let God be the one who sustains you.
Scripture says His presence will go with you and He will give you rest. That is the wisdom Moses understood when he said he did not want to go forward without the Lord. It is not wise to venture into any workplace or any day apart from Him, and the good news is you cannot escape His presence. Whether at your desk, on the way, in pressure or in quiet, He is there. The cloud and fire that rested over the tabernacle were signs of that nearness, and in Jesus we have the true shining forth of God's glory dwelling with us.
He is also at work in you through these very pressures. He is not dealing with you in a random or careless way. He is conforming you into the image of His Son, smoothing what is rough and preparing you for the good work He has already ordained for you to walk in. He gives wisdom of heart for the work of our hands and stirs the heart to do it. Ask Him for that wisdom and skill for the tasks before you today.
May the Lord give you a deep awareness of His nearness at work, a calm that comes from knowing He is with you, and grace for each silent burden you carry. May He continue His gracious work in you, making you more like Jesus, and may you know His peace as you trust Him moment by moment. In Jesus name, amen.
