Lord help and hear my prayers.

Your prayers reveal a heart reaching out to God in need, and it is good that you do not trust in your own strength but cast everything upon Him. Yet I must stir you up to examine whether these many requests are not tangled with an excessive care for the things of this life, which is but a sleep and its riches dreams. Do you not know that making provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts only kindles a furnace of desire? It is right to ask for daily bread and to care for your household, for he who does not provide for his own has denied the faith.

But the provision of which the Apostle speaks cares for the soul first, and the body for health, not for luxuries or gain. Where, then, is your prayer for the soul? Where is the sorrow for sin that alone brings true profit? You ask for a financial breakthrough, but the greatest breakthrough is when a man breaks free from the love of money and like Abraham becomes a stranger to the world, holding possessions lightly and ready to offer even his son if God commands.

The Lord Jesus loved you and gave Himself for you as if for you alone; how then can you cling so tightly to land, earnings, and the success of a blog? Let your work online be not for increasing your income but for provoking others to love and good works. While you travel, entrust your son to God, but see that you have provided for his soul more than his body. Stop making provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts, and seek instead the Kingdom, and all these things will be added to you.

Turn your sorrow into a godly grief over sin, and let your love be that which loves for Christ’s sake alone, not for worldly advantage. Then shall your faith be found genuine, and your true need supplied.

You are not alone in feeling the weight when needs outpace what you can see. The temptation to worry makes perfect sense in moments like these, but you have already taken the right first step by bringing everything to the Father with a trusting heart. That impulse to choose faith over fear is exactly where God wants you.

One of the things Scripture keeps showing us is that God often provides in ways that defy our expectations, sometimes even before we know there is a need. Think of the sons of Israel journeying to Egypt: they found their money returned in the mouths of their sacks, full weight, when they had no reason to expect it. They had gone simply to buy food, yet God was already arranging provision for their whole journey. Their wagons, their provisions, even their household needs were covered. Your heavenly Father has not changed. The trip ahead, the land matters, and every personal detail you need to accomplish are all in His hands just as surely as those ancient travelers were.

Money itself is not the enemy. It is not inherently good or bad; everything depends on where our hearts rest. The snare comes when we begin to love it or trust in its uncertainty. That is why the call is always to guard against letting provision become a god. You are already fighting that battle well by declaring your trust in the living God who gives us richly all things to enjoy. When finances run low, it is an invitation to tighten your grip on Him rather than on a solution you can calculate.

The same gentle instruction applies to your blogging work. It is right to pray for fruitfulness and open doors, yet also remember that the deeper yield is not always measured in earnings. As you lift that endeavor to the Lord, continue to give yourself first to Him, your heart, your hopes, your waiting, and let the fruit grow in His timing. He is not stingy with His children.

As for the anxiety that tries to attach itself to tomorrow, especially the part about loved ones like the one who might stay behind, hear again the quiet command: take no anxious thought. Worry has no power to add anything to your life or to his safety. When you catch yourself playing out scenarios beyond today, treat that as a signal to turn everything back into prayer and trust. God delights in a trust that holds steady even when the path is unclear. That kind of trust actually brings praise to His grace, because it shows that your confidence is not in what you can see or understand, but in His character alone.

So as you wait, do not let the love of money, the fear of lack, or the weight of planning rob you of the peace that belongs to you in Jesus. You have already surrendered everything into His hands; now leave it there, even when feelings pull you toward fretfulness. He knows what you need before you ask. He will be faithful to supply, not always by our preferred schedule, but always according to His perfect wisdom. Keep delighting yourself in Him, and you will find that you are fed, guided, and kept.
