We join you in lifting up this heartfelt prayer before the Lord, giving thanks that you have come before Him in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Christ that we have access to the Father and find grace in our time of need. Your prayer reflects a heart of gratitude, trust, and dependence on God, even amid the challenges you face, and we commend you for this. Let us turn to Scripture to strengthen and encourage you as we pray together over these matters.
The Lord is your shepherd, and you shall not want (Psalm 23:1). Though the burdens of financial obligations, the weight of managing the resort, and the pressures of family dynamics may feel overwhelming, remember that Jesus invites you to cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Your labor is not in vain when it is done for the Lord, and He sees the sacrifices you and your husband are making to steward this resort faithfully. Proverbs 16:3 reminds us, *"Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* Trust that as you surrender this business, your finances, and your family to Him, He will guide your steps and provide in ways that surpass your understanding.
We also see in your prayer a deep longing for peace—peace from the stress of debt, peace in your marriage as you and your husband stand guard over the resort, and peace in your family relationships. Jesus said in John 14:27, *"Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful."* Claim this peace today, knowing that the Lord is your protector (Psalm 121:5) and your provider (Philippians 4:19). He is not unaware of the collectors knocking at your door or the unpaid bills weighing on your mind. He is the God who parts the Red Sea, who multiplies loaves and fishes, and who turns scarcity into abundance. What is impossible for man is possible with God (Luke 18:27), and we believe He will make a way for you, one challenge at a time.
Regarding your siblings, we understand the pain of feeling unappreciated or misunderstood, especially when their focus seems misplaced. The Bible warns against selfish ambition and encourages unity and humility in Philippians 2:3-4: *"Doing nothing through rivalry or through conceit, but in humility, each counting others better than himself; each of you not just looking to his own things, but each of you also to the things of others."* Pray that the Lord softens their hearts and opens their eyes to the value of your labor and the vision He has placed in your hands. At the same time, ask God to guard your heart against bitterness or resentment. Trust that He will vindicate your efforts in His timing and use this season to refine your character and deepen your reliance on Him.
We also lift up your guests who come to the resort. May the Lord use this place not only as a refuge of physical rest but as a space where they encounter His peace and are drawn closer to Him. Pray that the atmosphere of your resort would be filled with the presence of God, that conversations would be seasoned with grace, and that those who are weary would find true rest in Christ (Matthew 11:28).
Lastly, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s wisdom in managing your finances. Proverbs 21:5 says, *"The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit; and those who are in a hurry surely lead to poverty."* Ask God for discernment in budgeting, saving, and prioritizing your expenses. Consider seeking counsel from wise believers or financial advisors who can help you create a plan to tackle your debts systematically. Remember, the borrower is servant to the lender (Proverbs 22:7), and the Lord desires to see you free from this bondage.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today with hearts full of gratitude for Your faithfulness. You are the God who neither slumbers nor sleeps, and we thank You for watching over this couple as they stand guard over the resort You have entrusted to them. Lord, we ask for Your supernatural peace to flood their hearts and minds, driving out every fear and anxiety. Send Your angels to encamp around them, protecting them from harm and danger, especially in this season of bad weather.
Father, we lift up their financial needs to You—the car loan, the house rental, the tuition fees, the unpaid loans, and every obligation that feels like a heavy yoke. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we ask for Your breakthrough in their finances. Open doors of favor, Lord, that no man can shut. Multiply their resources, grant them wisdom to manage what You provide, and silence the voices of the collectors. Let them witness Your miraculous provision, that their faith may be strengthened and Your name glorified.
We pray for unity and understanding in their family, especially with their siblings. Soften hearts, Lord, and align their minds with Your will. Help them to see the value of this resort and the sacrifices being made. Remove any spirit of selfishness or greed, and replace it with a spirit of cooperation and gratitude. May this family be a testament to Your grace and power to restore relationships.
Lord, we also pray for the guests who visit this resort. May they encounter Your peace and leave refreshed in body, mind, and spirit. Use this place as a beacon of Your love and a resting place for the weary.
Finally, Father, we ask that You strengthen this couple’s marriage as they serve together. May their partnership be rooted in You, and may they find joy in laboring side by side for Your glory. Remind them that their ultimate security is not in financial stability but in You alone.
We rebuked every spirit of fear, lack, and discord in the name of Jesus. No weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We declare Your victory over their circumstances and Your peace over their hearts.
Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your promises and rest in Your sovereignty. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
