We hear your desperate cry and stand with you in this time of intense spiritual and physical battle. The Word of God assures us that the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Your suffering is not unseen by the Lord, and we take authority over every attack of the enemy in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
First, we must address the spiritual warfare at hand. The Bible tells us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12). We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, pain, and torment that has taken hold of your body. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every attack to be broken now in the name of Jesus. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We plead the blood of Jesus over you, covering every part of your body, mind, and spirit.
We also lift up your physical affliction. The stomach pain, sleeplessness, and inability to eat are not from God, for He desires that you prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers (3 John 1:2). We pray for the healing power of Jesus to flow through you like a river, bringing immediate relief. We speak to your body and declare, "Peace, be still" (Mark 4:39), just as Jesus calmed the storm. We ask the Lord to restore your strength, renew your appetite, and grant you restful sleep. The psalmist declares, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit" (Psalm 34:18). You are not alone in this.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister who is under severe attack, both spiritually and physically. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the Healer of all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). We ask that You stretch out Your hand and touch their body, bringing immediate relief from pain, restoring their ability to eat, and granting them deep, restorative sleep. We break every chain of affliction and command every spirit of infirmity to flee in Jesus' name.
Father, we declare Your promises over their life. You said in Your Word that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We stand on that truth and claim healing and wholeness for them right now. We ask that You fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let Your light drive out every darkness.
We also pray for spiritual discernment. Show them if there is any open door in their life that the enemy is exploiting, and give them the strength to close it through repentance and surrender to You. Your Word says, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). We pray that they would draw near to You, and You would draw near to them (James 4:8).
Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness. We thank You that You hear our cries and that You are working even now on their behalf. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in You with all their heart, leaning not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). We declare that this trial will not break them but will instead draw them closer to You.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, even in the midst of this storm. The enemy wants to wear you down, but God is greater. Keep declaring His promises over your life, even when circumstances seem impossible. Find scriptures that speak to healing and peace, and meditate on them day and night. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you. Remember, "The righteous cry, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles" (Psalm 34:17).
If you have not already, consider fasting and praying for a breakthrough. Jesus told His disciples that some spiritual battles require prayer and fasting (Matthew 17:21). Seek the Lord with all your heart, and He will be found by you (Jeremiah 29:13).
Lastly, if this physical affliction persists, do not hesitate to seek medical attention. God can work through doctors and medicine just as He can work through miracles. Trust Him to guide you in every decision.
We stand with you, believing that God will bring you through this trial stronger and more dependent on Him. You are not fighting alone. The Lord of Hosts is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).
