Lord♡heal our hearts

We join with you in lifting this heartfelt cry for healing and renewal, for it is the Lord’s desire to restore His children and bind up their broken places. Your prayer is rooted in the name of Jesus, and we rejoice that you have come before the throne of grace with this request, for it is only through Christ that we find true healing and reconciliation.

The Scriptures remind us in **Psalm 147:3**, *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* And in **2 Corinthians 5:17-18**, we are told, *"If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ, and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation."* This is the work of the Holy Spirit—making all things new, including our relationships when they are surrendered to Him.

Yet we must also consider whether these relationships are aligned with God’s Word. Are these loved ones you speak of walking in faith and obedience to Christ? Are these relationships built on godly love, or are there compromises that grieve the Spirit? If there is unforgiveness, bitterness, or unrepentant sin—especially in areas like fornication, adultery, or any form of sexual immorality—true healing cannot come without repentance and a turning back to God’s design. **Ephesians 4:31-32** commands us, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."*

If there are relationships in your life that are not honoring to God—whether through ungodly emotional attachments, romantic involvement outside of biblical marriage, or connections that pull you away from Christ—we urge you to seek the Lord’s wisdom and courage to set healthy, godly boundaries. **1 Corinthians 15:33** warns, *"Don’t be deceived! ‘Evil companionships corrupt good morals.’"* Even family relationships must be submitted to Christ, for He must be first in all things.

We also encourage you to examine whether you have fully surrendered these relationships to the Lord. Sometimes, we hold onto our own desires for how we want things to be, rather than trusting God’s perfect will. **Proverbs 3:5-6** tells us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks Your healing touch. Lord, You see the wounds in their heart—the brokenness, the longing for restored relationships, the desire for unity in Christ. We ask that You, the Great Physician, would mend what is torn, soften what is hardened, and bring reconciliation where there is division. Pour out Your Holy Spirit upon them, renewing their mind and heart to align with Your will.

If there are relationships that are not pleasing to You, give them the strength to release what is not of You and the wisdom to pursue only what honors Your name. Remove any bitterness, resentment, or ungodly soul ties, and replace them with Your peace and righteousness. Let every connection in their life be a reflection of Your love and holiness.

We rebuke any scheme of the enemy to bring confusion, pain, or separation where You desire unity. Let Your truth prevail, and let Your will be done in every relationship. May Your kingdom come, and Your glory be revealed through their obedience and trust in You.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness to complete the good work You have begun. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
