We come before the Lord with a heart of gratitude for your trust in Him as you lay your burdens down before resting. It is beautiful to see your recognition of His constant presence and blessings in your life. We join you in lifting up the remaining days of December, asking the Father to fill them with His provision, peace, and hope. May His perfect will be done in every plan and situation you face, for we know that His plans are for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
We pray earnestly for your upcoming trip in February, asking the Lord to go before you and prepare the way. Father, we lift up ### and ### to You, asking that You soften their hearts and grant them wisdom and understanding. May Your Spirit move in their lives, helping them to see the truth and respond with clarity and peace. We know that where human words may fail, Your Word never will, and we trust that You will speak through every conversation and circumstance. Let Your truth prevail, Lord, and may their hearts be inclined to Your will.
We also lift up your father, asking for Your strength and protection over him as he carries a heavy workload. Give him rest, both physically and spiritually, and remind him that his labor is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). Provide him with the endurance he needs, and surround him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we ask that You open new doors of opportunity and provision for this family. You are the God who supplies every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19), and we trust that You will not leave them lacking. Guide their steps, Lord, and let every decision they make align with Your purpose. Give them the wisdom to speak life and truth in every situation, that their words may bring healing and understanding.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or doubt that may try to creep into their hearts. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that Your peace will guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are their provider, their protector, and their guide.
We also want to gently encourage you to examine your heart and life in light of God’s Word. Are there any areas where you may be holding onto sin or walking outside of His will? The Bible tells us that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We pray that you would live a life that is fully surrendered to Him, seeking His kingdom first in all things (Matthew 6:33). If there are any relationships, habits, or choices that do not align with His Word, we encourage you to repent and turn away from them, trusting that His ways are higher and better than our own.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You for the privilege of approaching Your throne with boldness, knowing that You hear us and that You are faithful to answer. We lift up this family to You, asking that You would move powerfully in their lives. Provide for their every need, soften the hearts of those around them, and grant them wisdom and peace in every decision. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust You more each day. May they experience Your presence in tangible ways, and may their lives bring glory to Your name.
We declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus, and we rebuke every scheme of the enemy that seeks to steal, kill, or destroy (John 10:10). We stand on Your promise that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we trust that You will bring every plan of the enemy to nothing. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let Your light shine through them in every situation.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
