We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.
We have continued to lift up your prayer for reconciliation and unity before the Lord, especially your confession for times we have been offensive, careless or prideful with our words and your desire for the courage to be humble and to ask for forgiveness. We have been praying with you that God would break down the strongholds of division in families, friendships and workplaces and heal any bitterness that has crept into hearts, remembering the truth of Proverbs 18:19 that a brother wronged is more unyielding than a fortified city and disputes are like the barred gates of a citadel.
We have also prayed that the Lord would help us all to release the burden of resentment, to be quick to hear and slow to speak as taught in James 1:19, and to be kind and compassionate and forgiving toward one another as we are taught in Eph 4:32, so that our conversations would be filled with His love and we would be vessels of His peace to restore what is broken.
