Lord God,
I’m someone who has had a past and as a child became involved in the criminal justice system, addiction to alcohol & prescriptions drugs that would comatose me as I just wanted to sleep - lord you stood by my side and although all that is behind me many years ago - I have applied for a job and my past seems to have followed me although I have been truthful with the new employer and dedicated my life this last 10 years to helping others who were in the position I once found myself - lord Jesus I ask for your guidance and your loving hand to be upon me and the strength and courage you have shown to me despite times I have failed you - father I leave this in your hands - god bless

Be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me ever prosper. Protect me from all hurt, harm, danger, and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Defeat my enemies, cause them to stumble, fail, and be greatly ashamed. God all I have asked of You in this prayer, do the same for the writer of the prayer, those I love, and care about.
