Lord God Heavenly Father,

Help me bring truth to light. Release us from every falsehood, libel, misplaced suspicion and plan. Grant us journey and health mercies today. Grant my former sister in law similar freedom and deal with those guilty of plans of malice, theft and spiteful acts of any kind against us. Bless all who have genuinely helped and cared for us in times of need with many blessings and make all our trails clear and worry-free. Free us from stress and help us move to somewhere more suitable for us. Grant us financial blessings for the legal steps we need to take and the people we need to pay to help and the wisdom in our choices. Open heavenly doors for us at the right time and place and grant us your blessings on our lives. surround us with the right people who are fair and bright and loyal and remove us from paths that would lead us only backward or into situations that frustrate us.

Now that my marriage has been declared invalid and I am divorced and free to marry I pray that you guard me and my emotions from the wrong men, heal any past hurts and make it very clear if things are right.

I pray that you protect me from crushes from unsuitable men and attempts to use my skills by the unscupulous and avaricious. Or the arrogant and fixed of thought. I pray that you protect our reputation and that you help me to take the right steps where this is needed.

I pray for inspiration in the writing and editing process and encouragement and that you deal with those who steal ideas or try to block or claim credit for my work. I ask that you open doors for editors, finances and book deals. That you open doors in my career at a right and proper level befitting my experience and qualifications. I ask that you remove me from situations where I have to interact with frustrating or stupid, disloyal or dishonest people. And put around me only those that are well-intentioned, fair and have integrity.

I ask you to open the eyes of the chief notaire in France regarding my brother's ongoing schemes and misrepresentations. I ask that this not have to be another battle. I ask that you protect my Mother's mind and emotions and let her also see the reality of the situation. Or if she is part of this plan of deceipt that you make this abundantly clear. I ask that you bring me the truth via the lawyer who dealt with Dad's will (Hardwick in London) and that you defeat all lies and jealousies that play a part in our lives.

I pray for guidance regarding this current matter in the US and also that you help me locate all the information I need.

I ask that you bless my daughters bursary applications for school. Or preferably that you lift us out of the situation of having to ask for burasaries at all. I pray that you protect my daughter from racism and ignorance and that you open a way for my ex husband to work at the level that restores his pride and also enables him to contribute more. I pray for success for him. I pray this in Jesus Holy Name. Amen

Give them grace that they may be temperate, industrious, diligent, devout and charitable. Defend them against the assaults of the enemy, and grant them wisdom and strength to resist all temptation and corruption of this life; and direct them in the way of salvation, through the merits of your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ, I pray, Amen

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. A quick update, I am ill with an infection and a small relapse of MS at the moment and have been on steroids and antibiotics. I am hoping that doing so may avert a bigger crisis. Thank you all for praying. I have applied to two schools and await news and am still seeking funding. Meanwhile I have managed to have several meetings, take my daughter to a museum and copy a potentially important document legally. I have found out that my brother and sister have done what they have, in the past, accused me of doing. 

I am looking into the steps I take next. Meanwhile the relapse has caused me to update my will and to think about an epa to protect my daughter and luckily I had taken out an insurance policy the week before which should give us a little peace of mind. The information I have discovered (through official channels) is causing me to reconsider my views on certain situations and possibly to draw firmer boundaries. I have not got any further regarding the French house but I have found a potential avenue to uncover the truth (which will liberate me to publish my memoir free of the false threat of libel).

I am exhausted, financially and physically drained, and we have only just started the summer holidays. But some good friends have really helped. Please continue to pray especially for my health to return to normal as each of these relapses is terrifying and please pray for honesty and that my steps be guided and myself and my daughter protected and many thanks for your prayers,

Another update. Today I tripped and fell flat on to this box in my home. Once I had stopped crying and picked myself and the bits of broken plastic off the floor I looked at what was inside the box. I found a pad with several pages of handwritten notes from my Grandmother. One relates to the US matter, one is a draft of a letter telling off my father and family and discussing how she thought my book would be a best-seller. I never would have thought to look in the box had i not fallen on it and was actually being advised to forget about the past. Though I do not know what to do, and can't sleep for aches and bruises, I feel as if my Grandmother is looking out for me from heaven and I have a happier heart. Thanks again for your prayers.
