Lord God Almighty in Heaven I'm praying for spiritual strength today bring in the help and coverage make a way were it seems to be no way God please how much longer change the atmosphere protect my job and schedule scatter, confuse, expose and destroy ### and ### im praying for a hedge of protection and a wall of fire over our job give me self control against pressure and overwhelming sensation in Jesus name Amen

We join with you in this prayer for spiritual strength and for help and coverage at your workplace, and we bring your burden before the Lord together in Jesus' name.

We hear your cry of how much longer and your plea for God to make a way where there seems to be no way. We know that feeling of pressure and overwhelming sensation, and we are reminded that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1. He gives power to the faint and to him who has no might he increases strength Isaiah 40:29. When you feel overwhelmed, we encourage you to wait on Him, for those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint Isaiah 40:31. We also remember His promise, Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Do you not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert Isaiah 43:19. He is able to change the atmosphere and open doors that no man can shut.

We stand with you asking for His hedge of protection and wall of fire over your job and schedule. You prayed so biblically, for have you not made a hedge around him, and around his house, and around all that he has, on every side Job 1:10, and the Lord Himself says, For I, says Yahweh, will be to her a wall of fire around it, and I will be the glory in the middle of her Zechariah 2:5. We pray that He will be faithful to guard you, for the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one 2 Thessalonians 3:3, and that you may dwell in the shelter of the Most High and rest in the shadow of the Almighty Psalm 91:1.

We also want to gently speak to the part of your prayer asking to scatter, confuse, expose and destroy those individuals you mentioned by name. We understand the deep frustration and the desire for justice when you feel opposed or undermined at work, and we do pray with you that any evil plans, deception, or injustice would be exposed and brought to nothing, and that the atmosphere would be cleansed. Yet Scripture teaches us that our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, Vengeance is mine, and I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19, and Jesus calls us to love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matthew 5:44. So we pray not for the destruction of people, but for the destruction of the works of darkness, for conviction and repentance where needed, and for God to deal justly and mercifully with each person according to His perfect will.

We also join you in praying for self-control against pressure, for this is part of the fruit of the Spirit, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control Galatians 5:22-23. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. When anxiety rises, we are told, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him we have access to Your throne. We thank You that You hear our voice when we call. Lord, we ask You to pour out spiritual strength upon our dear fellow believer today. Bring in the help and coverage needed at work, provide for every staffing need, protect this job and this schedule that You have provided, and make a way where there seems to be no way. Change the atmosphere over that workplace with Your peace and Your presence, and let Your will be done there as it is in heaven. Place Your hedge of protection and Your wall of fire around this child of Yours, guarding heart and mind and livelihood. Grant self-control and calmness under pressure, and let Your peace guard the heart from overwhelming sensations. Expose what needs to be exposed, frustrate every evil scheme, but have mercy on all involved and bring conviction and repentance where there is wrongdoing. We trust Your timing, even when we ask how much longer, and we choose to wait for You with hope. Strengthen faith to endure and to glorify You in this trial. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We hear how stretched you are at work right now and how much you are carrying to keep your job and schedule steady. Asking God for spiritual strength, for help and coverage, and for self control when the pressure feels overwhelming is an honest and good prayer, and we are bringing it to the Lord with you.

When that overwhelming sensation rises, it can help to have a simple plan for the moment and for the week ahead. You might note the one or two places where coverage is most urgent and bring a single, clear request to a supervisor or trusted coworker rather than holding it all alone. Giving yourself a brief pause in the day to step aside, pray, and reset can also help you respond with calm instead of reacting under pressure. If you notice that pressure sensation continuing, please consider checking in with a medical professional as well as continuing in prayer, so you are cared for in every way.

We are asking God to meet you right there at work, to steady you, and to give you wisdom for each next step.

Father, we lift this need to You today. Provide the help and coverage that is needed, protect this job and schedule, and bring peace into the workplace atmosphere. Place Your hedge of protection around them and give steady self control when pressure rises. Make a way where there seems to be no way and guide each decision. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We have heard your prayer for help and coverage at work and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father.

You ask for spiritual strength and self control under pressure and overwhelming sensation, and this is a wise petition. Apart from Christ we can do nothing, not even the little deeds of patience and quiet endurance which the day requires. Every grain of self strength is weakness, and every particle of self reliance is poison to the soul. True self control is not worked up from within but is the fruit of the Spirit as we look to Christ our living Friend and lean wholly upon Him. Cry with the Psalmist, Search me and know my heart, and ask the Lord to keep you watchful at the helm, with caution and self examination, that you may be kept from self neglect while you keep the vineyards of duty to which He has called you.

You ask for a hedge of protection and a wall of fire about your job and schedule, and for God to make a way where there seems to be no way and to change the atmosphere. The Lord is able to do this. He has promised to be a wall of fire round about His people and He gives His angels charge to keep them in all their ways when they walk in His appointed ways. He who travels on the King's highway is under the King's protection. Therefore commit your way to Him in childlike trust and wait upon His providential guidance, not leaning to your own understanding. He who has led you thus far can open a path through the sea and make rivers in the desert, and He will keep you in perfect peace as you stay your mind upon Him.

Concerning those who trouble you, you ask that God would scatter and confuse and expose what is evil. We pray with you that every evil design would be brought to light and brought to nothing, and that the Lord would restrain the hand of the oppressor and protect your labor and your good name. Yet remember our calling is to overcome evil with good. We do not pray for the destruction of persons made in God's image, but for the destruction of evil itself, and for the salvation and correction of those who do wrong. Ask the Lord to expose what is false, to frustrate what is unjust, and to turn hearts, even the hearts of adversaries, to truth and righteousness. Leave vengeance to Him who judges righteously and seek grace to bless and to do good where you are pressed.

You cry, how much longer, and we know the weariness of waiting. The Lord sometimes tarries to try our faith, but He never forgets His own. They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. He hears the sigh, Why are His chariots so long in coming, and He will appear in His appointed time. Keep looking to Christ for all things, longing for His presence in your daily work, and you shall find that His help comes in the hour when self is humbled and Christ is all.

Let us pray together.

O Lord God Almighty in Heaven, our Father through Jesus Christ our Lord, we thank Thee that we may come boldly to Thy throne. Grant to this Thy servant spiritual strength for this day. Make a way where there seems to be no way. Change the atmosphere of that workplace by Thy presence and give peace where there is pressure. Set a hedge about this life and a wall of fire about this labor, and charge Thy angels to keep in all appointed ways. Preserve this job and this schedule as it pleases Thee, and let no weapon formed against Thy child prosper. Give self control and a sound mind, that under trial there may be quietness and confidence in Thee. Expose what is evil, frustrate what is unjust, and bring to nothing every counsel that is against truth. Have mercy upon all who do wrong and turn them to seek Thee. We ask not in our own worthiness but in the name and merits of Jesus Christ our only Saviour, who liveth and reigneth. Amen.
