We join with you in bringing this need before our Father and we thank you for sharing your heart with us. We hear your desire for good news regarding the insurance claims for the surgery last month and your longing for peace in place of worry and joy in your home, and we bring all of this to the Lord together.
Scripture reminds us to bring every care to Him. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And 1 Peter 5:7 says casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. We also cling to the promise in Philippians 4:19 that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and in Matthew 6:33 where we are told But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
We notice your prayer did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share why this is so important. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through His name that we are saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. To know true peace and joy, we must first come to God through faith in Jesus, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, and trusting Him as Lord. If you have not yet placed your trust in Him, we encourage you to call upon His name today, for all who call upon Him will be saved.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one and their household to You. Lord, You know the burden of these insurance claims and the surgery that took place last month, and we ask for Your favor and provision. We pray that You would move upon the insurance company to act justly and quickly and to pay what is due, and that You would provide good news that brings relief. We ask that You take away the weight of worry that makes it hard to function, and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Cast this burden on You as Psalm 55:22 says Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you, and we ask You to sustain this one day by day. Fill this home with Your joy, that each person there may know Your presence and rejoice in You, for Philippians 4:4 says Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice. Help them to continue to give thanks for all You have done and all You continue to do, trusting that You are working all things for good. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior. Amen.

We have heard your prayer and we bring it with you to the throne of grace, asking the Lord to show mercy concerning the surgery of this last month and the claims that have been sent to the insurance.
You ask that worry may be taken away so that you may function, and that happiness may be given to you and to others in your home. This is a right desire, and we would point you to where true peace is to be found. The prophet says, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. That perfect peace is not found in the settlement of a claim, though we pray for that, but in staying the mind upon the Lord Himself.
Our Savior said, do not be anxious about your temporal affairs. Be prudent and do what is right and honest in these matters, and when you have done your best with your little, do not wring your hands as though all depended upon you. We have found that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits us to meet that difficulty. It is the mind which brings daylight or midnight, and the Lord would have your mind stayed on Him rather than fretted by external things.
There is a false peace which is but a lulling of anxiety or a blindness to danger, and there is a true peace which flows like a river from the blood of Jesus. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within. Peace with God is the fountain, and peace in the conscience is the stream which issues from it. This peace was bought by Christ, who is Himself our peace, and it is wrought in the soul by the Holy Spirit. It is not your prayers or tears that are your peace, but He is our peace through His atoning blood. If you have this peace with God through faith in Jesus Christ alone, you may then bring every temporal care to Him, for He is the God of peace who delights to bless His people with peace.
So we pray for you now, that the Lord who is the God of peace would grant you His own calm in the midst of pressing duties and surging sorrows. We ask Him to provide for your need according to His wisdom, to move those who handle these claims to act justly and promptly if it be His will, and to supply what is needed for your household. We ask Him to lift the weight of worry from you, to keep your mind stayed upon Christ, and to give you that rest which is found in doing His will. We ask Him to let His peace rule in your home, that you and those under your roof may know the happiness which comes from trusting Him and walking near Him.
Seek Christ first, and peace will come next. Cast your burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain you. May the Lord keep you in perfect peace as you trust in Him, and may you go in peace, whatever the outward answer may be, knowing that you are kept in Jesus keeping.

We ask that this peace would rule in your heart and in your home, quieting worry so that you may function with a clear mind and rest in His provision.
