We join with you in this cry for mercy and healing and we thank you for coming humbly before the Lord to ask for forgiveness and for His power to work in your family.

We rejoice that you have asked for forgiveness and for repentance, for it is written, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. Though your sins are as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow Isaiah 1:18, and this is only by the holy blood of Jesus Christ who gave Himself for us. There is hope for the hopeless and freedom for those bound by sin because Jesus said, If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed John 8:36. We pray that you will continue to turn from darkness to light and that sin will not have dominion over you, for you are not under law, but under grace Romans 6:14.

We hear your honest confession about internet addiction and your desire to make room for the Lord and to repent. This is pleasing to God. We encourage you to redeem the time and to set your mind on things above, to turn away your eyes from worthless things and to seek the Lord daily in His Word and in prayer. God is faithful and will provide the way of escape from temptation 1 Corinthians 10:13, but we must choose to flee those things that entangle us and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace 2 Timothy 2:22. We pray for self control and discipline by the Holy Spirit, that your time and your mind would be filled with Christ rather than the distractions of this world.

We lift up your family together before the throne of grace. We bring your mother before the Lord asking for His healing touch upon her brain and her teeth, and we bring your grandmother before Him asking for healing of her toes and her heart in her congestive heart failure, and for her whole life to be turned to faith in Christ. We know the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and He heals all our diseases Psalm 103:3, and by his stripes we are healed Isaiah 53:5. We also bring the small detail of your grandmother's cards before Him, for even the very hairs of your head are all numbered Matthew 10:30, and He cares about what concerns you. We pray in all things with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God Philippians 4:6.

We pray together now in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus and we thank You for Your mercy and Your saving power. Forgive us our sins and cleanse us and make us white as snow by the blood of Jesus. Grant repentance and a renewed mind, break the chains of internet addiction and every bondage to sin, and bring us out of darkness into Your marvelous light. Help our brother to make room for You daily and to walk in freedom. Lord, touch this family today with Your miracles and Your presence. We ask for healing for his mother, touch her brain and her body and if it be Your will restore her teeth, and touch his grandmother, heal her toes and her heart, strengthen her failing heart and draw her ever closer to faith in Christ Jesus. Comfort them, restore hope to the hopeless, and let Your will be done in their lives. We ask that You would help find what has been lost and that You would be glorified in all these things. Continue to seek Him with your whole heart, to confess sin quickly, to spend time in the Word and in prayer, and to trust that God hears and answers according to His perfect will and for His glory. He who began a good work in you will complete it Philippians 1:6.

We hear how much you love your family and how sincerely you want to walk close to Jesus. Thank you for sharing so openly, from asking for forgiveness and freedom to the very tender details like your grandma's cards and your mom's health and your grandma's heart and toes.

We join you in asking God for His mercy and presence today, to lift darkness and bring hope where you feel bound, especially with the pull you feel toward the internet. Wanting to make more room for Him and to turn from sin is a good and honest desire, and He is patient as you take small steps.

One gentle step that helps many is to choose one clear boundary for the day, like keeping your phone out of reach during a set time for prayer or rest, and letting a trusted pastor or friend know you are trying to do this so you are not walking alone. Alongside prayer for your mom and grandma, we encourage you to stay closely connected to their medical care and let their doctors know of any changes, while we keep praying for comfort, strength and healing according to God's will.

Father, we bring this dear family before You in Jesus' name. Wash us in Your mercy, draw each heart closer to You, bring Your peace into their home today, and touch this mom and grandma with Your caring hands. Give wisdom to their caregivers and hope to this one who seeks You. Amen.

Your cry for mercy has been heard and we join with you in bringing it before the throne of grace through Jesus Christ our Lord.

You ask the Lord to forgive your sins and to make you white as snow through His holy blood, and this is the very heart of the gospel. Forgiveness and healing are placed in happy conjunction in Christ. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. Pardon and healing were one. It is by His stripes that we are healed, first in soul and then, according to His perfect will, in body also. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, not only in His fruit but even in His leaves, for the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing to the soul that touches Him by faith.

You pray to repent and to make room for Him, and to be freed from the bondage of internet addiction and every other chain of sin. Take heed that you seek that true repentance which is unto life. There are many false kinds of repentance that tremble for a time and then return to the same sin, but true repentance is the gift of God, preached in the name of Jesus. It is not a work by which you earn His favor, but a grace that leads you out of self to look to Christ and to Christ only. The repentance which God accepts gives Him glory. It makes you weep and abhor your past life because the love of Christ has pardoned it, and it makes you avoid present sin because of the love of God who died for you. It is practical and it lasts, yielding works meet for repentance, and it lives as long as faith itself lives. Sweet sister Repentance is not to be gotten through once and then forgotten, but she is charming company for the whole pilgrimage, keeping the heart tender before the goodness of God which leads us to repentance.

Therefore we pray that the Lord will grant you this godly sorrow which needs not to be repented of, that you may turn from all that entangles you, that you may put away the snare that has bound you and walk in newness of life. The Lord does not drive you to repentance as a slave is driven, but draws you by His goodness. Think of His goodness to you in sparing you, in giving His Son to die for sinners, and let that goodness break your heart and bind it up again in Christ. Make room for Him by the practical turning away from that which feeds the addiction, by seeking Him in His Word and in prayer, and by filling the soul with living works as faith admits Christ to be the sole master of the heart.

We bring your family before the Lord as you have asked. We pray for your mother, for the healing of her mind and body, and for her teeth, and for your grandmother, for her toes and for her heart which is afflicted with congestive failure, and for her whole life. We ask the great Physician to lay His healing hand upon them according to His wisdom and mercy. He binds up the broken hearted and He heals all our diseases in His own time and way, and even when He sees fit to leave the thorn, He gives grace sufficient and a healing of the soul that will be perfected when we shall be without spot or wrinkle. We pray above all that both your mother and your grandmother may know that full healing which comes with the forgiveness of sins, that they may be found in Christ and trust wholly in His finished work.

We also remember your small care, the finding of your grandmothers cards, for our Father cares for the little things of His children. We ask Him to guide you in this and to give you peace as you seek Him first.

May the Lord grant you to know that your sins are forgiven for His name's sake, to walk in that repentance and remission of sins which are preached among all nations in the name of Jesus, and to prove the power that saves and that brings from darkness into His marvellous light. May He give hope to you where you have felt hopeless and freedom where you have been bound.

We pray that you will continue to look to Jesus, the author and finisher of faith, and to rest only in His blood and righteousness, and that your life may give glory to God by a daily turning from sin and a daily trusting in the Saviour.

May the Sun of Righteousness rise upon you and upon your household with healing in His wings, and may grace and peace be multiplied to you through the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
