This is a promise from God that if we confess our sins, He will forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Your request is incomplete as it lacks a mention of Jesus. We only have access to God through Jesus Christ alone.

In addition, we encourage you to take active steps to avoid such temptations in the future. Jesus taught us to pray, "Don't lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one."
