We join you in lifting up this need before our Heavenly Father, who cares for even the smallest details of our lives. It is good that you have come before the Lord in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace and receive mercy in our time of need. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* We also recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 7:7-8, *"Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."*
While we pray for the resolution of these physical needs, we also encourage you to reflect on the greater spiritual truths at work here. The Lord often uses our earthly struggles to draw us closer to Him, to teach us patience, and to remind us of our dependence on Him. Consider James 1:2-4, *"Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."* Though this trial with your radiators and boiler has persisted for years, we trust that the Lord is refining your faith through it. He is never late, and His timing is perfect.
We must also gently address the request for this work to be done "for free." While we understand the desire to avoid financial burden, we are called to honor those who labor among us. The Scriptures teach in 1 Timothy 5:18, *"For the Scripture says, 'You shall not muzzle the ox when it treads out the grain,' and, 'The laborer is worthy of his wages.'" If the Lord provides a skilled worker to resolve this issue, it would be right to compensate them fairly for their time and expertise, trusting that God will provide the means for you to do so. Proverbs 3:9-10 encourages us, *"Honor Yahweh with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine."* The Lord is faithful to provide when we walk in obedience and generosity.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this need for our brother/sister. Lord, You are the Creator of all things, and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You would supernaturally intervene in the issues with their radiators and gas boiler. Lord, You know the frustration and weariness that has come from years of struggling with this burden. We pray that You would send the right person—skilled, honest, and timely—to diagnose and repair these problems efficiently. Father, provide the wisdom and resources needed to complete this work, and give our brother/sister a heart of gratitude and trust in Your provision.
We rebuke any spiritual opposition or delay that may be hindering this resolution. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but You, Lord, have come to give life abundantly (John 10:10). Let this situation be resolved swiftly and completely, bringing glory to Your name. Strengthen our brother/sister’s faith through this process, and remind them that You are their Provider, their Peace, and their ever-present Help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
If there has been any frustration or bitterness in their heart due to this prolonged struggle, we ask that You would replace it with patience and joy. Help them to trust in Your timing, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We declare that this issue is already resolved in the spiritual realm, and we wait expectantly for its manifestation in the physical. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this matter, trusting that He hears and answers prayer. Keep your heart open to how He may be working, even in ways you do not yet see. If the Lord lays it on your heart to bless the person who comes to fix these issues, do so cheerfully, knowing that your obedience honors Him. May this situation be a testament to God’s faithfulness, and may it draw you—and those who witness it—closer to Him.
