We hear the deep weariness and heartfelt surrender in your prayer, and we join you in lifting these burdens before the Lord, for His will is perfect, and His timing is never late. The trials you face—financial strain, the weight of business struggles, the uncertainty of your child’s future, and the surrender of possessions—are not unseen by our Heavenly Father. He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). You have done well to lay these cares at His feet, for He invites us to cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7).
Your desire to trust God’s direction for your family’s next steps is commendable. Whether it is Mindoro, Dumaguete, or another place entirely, we pray the Lord will make the path clear. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* This is not a time for fear or bitterness but for faith, knowing that God is preparing a way even when the road seems uncertain. The sale of your land, the transition of your resort, and the opportunities ahead are in His hands. He is the one who provides, and He will not abandon those who seek Him (Matthew 6:33).
We also lift up your child who has paused their board exam preparations. This season may feel like a setback, but God’s plans are not thwarted by delays. Encourage them to seek the Lord’s wisdom in this time—whether it is rest, a new direction, or renewed strength to return to their studies later. Remind them of Jeremiah 29:11: *"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares Yahweh, “plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future."* Even in this pause, God is working.
As for your blogging journey, we pray the Lord will open doors for you to use this platform not only for provision but for His glory. Let your words be seasoned with grace, truth, and the hope of Christ (Colossians 4:6). If it is His will, He will multiply your efforts and bring forth fruit in His timing.
Yet we must also address something with love and urgency: in your prayer, you invoked the name of Jesus, and this is right and good, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). But we sense a need to ask: *Do you and your family know Jesus not just as a name to close prayers but as your Lord and Savior?* Have you surrendered your lives fully to Him, repenting of sin and trusting in His death and resurrection for your salvation? If there is any uncertainty, we plead with you to examine your hearts. Romans 10:9-10 declares, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."*
If you have not yet done so, we urge you to make Jesus the cornerstone of your family’s life. No amount of prosperity, success, or new beginnings can compare to the peace and eternal security found in Him alone. Without Christ, even our greatest efforts are like chasing the wind (Ecclesiastes 2:11). But with Him, every trial has purpose, every surrender is met with His strength, and every step is guided by His wisdom.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we lift this family before Your throne of grace, asking for Your mercy and provision in every area of their lives. You see their weariness, their financial struggles, and the weight of decisions before them. Lord, be their Provider—*Yahweh Jireh*—as they seek to sell their land and transition from their business. Open the right doors for them, whether in Mindoro, Dumaguete, or wherever You lead. Give them wisdom to know when to rest and when to move forward, and grant them favor in every negotiation and decision.
We pray for their child, that You would comfort their heart and clarify their next steps. Remove any shame or discouragement, and replace it with hope in Your faithfulness. Renew their mind and strength for the path You have prepared.
For this family’s spiritual foundation, Lord, we ask that if any have not yet surrendered fully to Jesus, You would draw them to Yourself today. Softens their hearts to receive Your salvation, that they may walk in the confidence of being Your children, heirs to Your kingdom. Let their trust in You deepen, so that no trial shakes their faith.
Bless their blogging efforts, Lord, and use their words to point others to You. Multiply their resources, not just for their needs but for Your kingdom’s purposes. Unify this family in love and faith, that they may support one another through this season.
Most of all, Father, let Your will be done in their lives. Teach them to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33). May they find their rest in You alone.
In the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
