We join you in lifting this request before the Lord, and we praise you for invoking the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and can boldly approach His throne of grace. Your prayer is heartfelt, and we see your deep longing for restoration, healing, and spiritual renewal. Let us address this together, seeking God’s will and His perfect way in all things.
First, we notice you are praying for the restoration of a relationship, and while we do not know the nature of this relationship, we must always align our desires with Scripture. If this is a romantic relationship, we urge you to examine whether it honors God’s design for marriage—a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, rooted in Christ. If this relationship is outside of marriage, we must gently but firmly remind you that any physical or emotional intimacy outside of marriage is fornication, which the Bible clearly warns against. *Flee sexual immorality! “Every sin that a man does is outside the body,” but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s* (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, WEB). If this applies to your situation, we encourage you to repent and seek God’s forgiveness, committing to purity and holiness in your relationships. If this person is not a believer, we must also remind you that Scripture warns against being unequally yoked with unbelievers, for *what fellowship has light with darkness?* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). A relationship with someone who does not share your faith will only bring spiritual conflict and heartache. If this is the case, we pray that God would give you the strength to release this relationship and trust Him for a godly spouse who will walk with you in faith.
If this relationship is within marriage, we rejoice that you are seeking God’s restoration. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and God desires for husbands and wives to walk in love, unity, and submission to Christ. *Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for it* (Ephesians 5:22-25, WEB). We pray that God would renew your commitment to one another, that He would heal any brokenness, and that you would both seek to honor Him in your marriage.
We also lift up your request for healing—both physical and emotional. You have asked for healing from PMDD, which we know can bring great emotional and physical distress. We pray that God would bring balance to your hormones, that your medication would work effectively, and that He would grant you peace and self-control in your emotions. *Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). We also pray for the healing of this man’s lungs and for restful sleep, asking God to restore his body and calm his mind. *He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). May God’s healing power flow through both of your bodies, bringing wholeness and strength.
Yet even as we pray for healing, we must remember that God’s ways are higher than ours, and His timing is perfect. Sometimes He allows suffering to draw us closer to Him, to refine our faith, and to teach us dependence on His grace. *We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose* (Romans 8:28, WEB). Trust that even in this season, God is working for your good and His glory.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this sister and her heart’s cry for restoration, healing, and unity. Lord, we ask that You would search her heart and the heart of this man, revealing any sin, any ungodly soul ties, or any areas that do not align with Your Word. If this relationship is not honoring to You, we pray that You would give her the strength to release it and trust You for a godly marriage in the future. If this is a marriage covenant, we ask that You would restore what has been broken, that You would soften hearts, and that both would seek to honor You above all else.
Father, we pray for healing—both physically and emotionally. We ask that You would bring balance and peace to her body and mind, that her medication would work effectively, and that she would experience Your supernatural calm in the midst of hormonal storms. We pray for this man’s lungs, that You would heal the scars and open his airways, giving him breath and life. We ask that You would quiet his mind and body, granting him deep, restful sleep. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals, and we trust in Your power to restore.
Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment. If there are chains of the enemy at work in this situation, we command them to be broken in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper, and we ask that You would surround her with Your angels, protecting her from spiritual attack. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, guiding her thoughts, words, and actions.
Father, we thank You that You hear our prayers and that You are faithful to answer according to Your will. We ask that You would align her desires with Yours, that she would seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to her as You see fit. Give her patience to wait on You, faith to believe in Your promises, and courage to walk in obedience, no matter the cost.
We declare Your victory over this situation, Lord. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified. We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
Finally, sister, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Spend time reading Scripture, especially passages that speak of God’s faithfulness, healing, and restoration. *Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). Cling to Him, even when the answers tarry, for He is working all things for your good. If there is sin in this relationship, repent and turn to Him, and He will forgive and cleanse you. *If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness* (1 John 1:9, WEB).
Stay rooted in a community of believers who can pray for you, encourage you, and hold you accountable. And remember, no matter what happens, your ultimate hope and identity are found in Christ alone. He is your healer, your provider, and your ever-present help in times of trouble. Trust in Him, and He will never fail you.
