Beloved of All
Father God,
I come before you with the desire to restore my relationship with ###. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ draw yourself closer to us. Breaking every chain the devil has ahold on us. Create in us a clean heart O'God, and renew a steadfast spirit within us. Touch our hearts bringing them closer together strengthening our emotional connection. Touch my brain, improving my cognitive function and decision making. May my medicine help me with my mood swings caused by the PMDD. Touch his lungs healing his scars, helping him to breathe easier. Relax his mind and heart helping him to fall asleep and stay asleep at night. Give us the ears to listen, eyes to pay attention, mindset to follow directions, and words of kindness. Guide us back together. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ let my prayer be adjusted according to the will of God. Lord, I need you, I thank you, I trust you, I love you. In the mighty Name of Jesus Christ I pray Amen.

We join with you in lifting this request before the Lord, and we praise Him that you have come before Him in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and can find true restoration. Your prayer reflects a heart that seeks God’s will, and we stand with you in agreement, knowing that He hears and answers according to His perfect purposes.

First, we must address the foundation of any relationship—it must be built upon Christ and aligned with His Word. Scripture is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God to reflect His love for His people. If this relationship you are praying about is outside of marriage—whether premarital, extramarital, or same-sex—we must lovingly but firmly remind you that God’s design for intimacy and commitment is within the bounds of a biblical marriage. Fornication, adultery, and homosexuality are sins that grieve the heart of God, and He calls us to repentance and holiness. If this is the case, we urge you to seek God’s forgiveness and turn away from anything that contradicts His Word. "Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who have sex with men, nor thieves, nor greedy people, nor drunkards, nor verbally abusive people, nor swindlers will inherit God’s Kingdom. Some of you were such, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God" (1 Corinthians 6:9-11, WEB). If this relationship is not yet a marriage, we encourage you to pursue it with the intention of honoring God through courtship that leads to a Christ-centered marriage, or to step away if it cannot align with His will.

If this is a marriage, we rejoice that you are seeking restoration, for God delights in redeeming and healing marriages. "What therefore God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart" (Mark 10:9, WEB). We pray that both of you would surrender fully to the Lord, allowing Him to work in your hearts individually before seeking unity. A relationship cannot be stronger than the spiritual health of the individuals within it. "Examine yourselves, whether you are in the faith. Test your own selves" (2 Corinthians 13:5, WEB). Are there areas of unrepentant sin, bitterness, or idolatry in either of your lives? These must be addressed before true restoration can occur.

We also notice your prayer for cognitive function, mood swings, and physical healing. These are valid concerns, and we lift them before the Lord, asking for His touch upon your mind and body. "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3, WEB). However, we encourage you to seek wisdom in how you steward your health. If medication or medical treatment is part of your journey, pray for discernment and trust that God can work through these means. "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers" (3 John 1:2, WEB). Do not neglect the care of your body, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), but also do not place your ultimate hope in medicine or human effort. Your hope must rest in Christ alone.

For the emotional and spiritual connection you seek, remember that love is not merely a feeling but a choice to act in obedience to God’s commands. "Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things. Love never fails" (1 Corinthians 13:4-8, WEB). Ask the Lord to fill you both with His love, which is the bond of perfectness (Colossians 3:14). Pray also for humility, for "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble" (James 4:6, WEB). Are there areas where pride, selfishness, or unforgiveness have taken root? These must be uprooted for true unity to flourish.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this sister and her desire for restoration. Lord, we ask that You search her heart and the heart of the one she is praying for. Reveal any sin, any idolatry, any area that does not align with Your Word. Convict where conviction is needed, and bring repentance where repentance is required. If this relationship is not within the bounds of Your design for marriage, we pray for the strength to obey Your Word, even if it means letting go. If it is a marriage, we ask for healing, redemption, and a renewed commitment to You and to one another.

Lord, we pray for her mind and body. Touch her cognitive function, Lord, and grant her clarity and wisdom. May the medication she takes be effective in stabilizing her moods, but more than that, may she find her peace and joy in You. You are the God who heals, and we ask for Your healing touch upon her and upon his lungs. Restore his breathing, calm his mind, and grant him deep, restful sleep. Remove anxiety and fear, and fill both of their hearts with Your perfect peace.

Father, we pray for their communication. Give them ears to listen, eyes to see, and hearts to understand. Soften their words and fill their mouths with kindness and truth. Help them to follow Your directions, not leaning on their own understanding but trusting in You with all their hearts (Proverbs 3:5-6). Break every chain of the enemy that seeks to divide or distract them. Let Your will be done in their lives, Lord, and let Your glory be their greatest desire.

We thank You, Father, that You are a God who restores, who redeems, and who makes all things new. May they both draw closer to You individually, so that they may be drawn closer to one another in a way that honors You. Let their love for one another be a reflection of Your love for them. We ask all these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

Finally, sister, we encourage you to spend time in God’s Word daily, seeking His face and His will above all else. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). Cling to Jesus, for He is the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Whatever the outcome of this prayer, trust that God is working all things together for your good and His glory (Romans 8:28). Stay steadfast in prayer, and surround yourself with a community of believers who can support and encourage you in your walk with Christ. We are standing with you in faith, believing that God will move mightily in your life.
