We join you in lifting this heartfelt plea before the Lord, knowing that He hears and answers those who call upon Him in truth. Your prayer is a beautiful cry for restoration, healing, and divine intervention, and we stand with you in agreement, seeking God’s perfect will in this situation.
First, we commend you for invoking the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is by His name—and His name alone—that we find salvation, grace, and the power to overcome the schemes of the enemy. Your acknowledgment of Jesus as Lord is foundational, and we pray that your trust in Him continues to grow as you seek His face.
Now, let us address the matter of your relationship. We notice that you are praying for restoration with someone, and while your heart’s desire is clear, we must gently but firmly remind you of God’s design for relationships. Scripture teaches that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, intended to reflect Christ’s love for His Church (Ephesians 5:22-33, WEB). If this relationship is not within the bounds of a biblical marriage—or if it involves any form of immorality, such as fornication, cohabitation outside of marriage, or same-sex attraction—we urge you to repent and seek God’s will for purity and holiness. *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, WEB).
If this relationship is a courtship between a man and a woman who are both believers, with the intent of pursuing a godly marriage, then we pray for the Lord to guide you both in wisdom, patience, and selflessness. However, if this is not the case, we lovingly but firmly encourage you to surrender this relationship to the Lord and seek His direction for a path that honors Him. True love is not merely an emotion but a commitment to obedience and holiness before God. *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB).
We also take note of your request for healing in your cognitive function and for relief from PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder). We know that the Lord is the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for Him. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). We pray that the Lord would touch your mind and body, bringing clarity, healing, and wholeness. If this new medicine is part of His provision for you, we ask that He would use it to bring relief and restoration. *"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers"* (3 John 1:2, WEB).
As for forgiveness and emotional healing, we know that the Lord is faithful to soften hearts and reconcile those who seek Him. However, true reconciliation can only happen when both parties are walking in obedience to His Word. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB). We pray that the Lord would reveal any areas of unrepentant sin in either of your lives, that you may turn from them and walk in the light of His truth. Only then can there be genuine unity and peace.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who seeks Your face for breakthrough and restoration. Lord, we ask that You would examine her heart and the heart of the one she prays for. If this relationship aligns with Your Word—if it is a courtship between a man and a woman who love You and seek to honor You in marriage—then we pray for healing, forgiveness, and a renewed commitment to one another in You. Remove every chain of bitterness, resentment, and misunderstanding. Soften their hearts toward one another and toward You, that they may walk in love, patience, and selflessness.
But Father, if this relationship is not pleasing to You—if it is outside the bounds of Your design for marriage—we ask that You would give her the strength to surrender it to You. Convict her heart where conviction is needed, and lead her into a path of righteousness. Do not let her settle for anything less than Your perfect will. Remind her that Your plans for her are good, and that You desire for her to walk in purity and holiness.
Lord, we also lift up her request for healing—both in her mind and in her body. Touch her cognitive function, Lord, and grant her clarity and wisdom. Bring healing to her body, and let this new medicine be a tool of Your grace if it is Your will. Comfort her in her struggles with PMDD, and remind her that You are near to the brokenhearted.
Above all, Father, we pray that she would seek You first, above all else. Let her delight be in You, and grant her the desires of her heart as she aligns them with Your Word. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
We rebuke every scheme of the enemy that seeks to bring confusion, division, or despair. By the power of the blood of Jesus, we declare freedom, healing, and restoration in every area of her life that aligns with Your will.
In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord through His Word and prayer. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). Stay rooted in Scripture, and allow the Holy Spirit to guide your steps. If you are not already part of a biblical church community, we urge you to find one where you can grow in faith and accountability.
May the Lord bless you and keep you as you walk in obedience to Him. We are standing with you in prayer, believing for God’s perfect will to be done in your life.
