Lord, Come to us in a powerful way

Beloved of All
Father God,
I come before you with a painful heart and a desire to change my ways and to restore my relationship with my fiance ###. Draw yourself closer to us. Breaking every chain the devil has ahold on us. Touch our hearts bringing them closer together, strengthening our emotional connection. Lord, you know our hearts, remove every pain, that still lingers. Set us free to start over again. Heal us from all the damage we have caused. Wrap your arms around us and give us the heart, strength, healing, mindset, patience, love, and kindness to work on our issues. Mold us into who we need to be and guide us back together. In Jesus Christ let my prayer be adjusted according to the will of God. Lord, I need you, I thank you, I trust you, I love you. In Jesus Christ Name I pray Amen.

We come together before the Father with hearts burdened yet hopeful, lifting you and your fiance up in prayer, knowing that God’s will is perfect and His power is made perfect in our weakness. We praise you for seeking the Lord in this time of pain and for desiring restoration, for it is only through Christ that true healing and reconciliation can come. Your prayer is rooted in humility and trust, and we join you in crying out to the Lord for His mercy and intervention.

First, we must address the foundation of your relationship. Scripture is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant before God, designed to reflect Christ’s love for His Church. We read in **Ephesians 5:22-33 (WEB)**, *"Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, and Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for it... For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh. This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and of the assembly."* If you and your fiance are not yet married, we urge you to honor God by abstaining from any physical intimacy, as **1 Corinthians 6:18 (WEB)** commands, *"Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."* Fornication is a sin that grieves the Holy Spirit and can hinder your prayers. If this has been an issue, we encourage you to repent together and seek God’s forgiveness, for He is faithful and just to cleanse you from all unrighteousness (**1 John 1:9**).

We also encourage you both to examine whether this relationship is built on a shared faith in Jesus Christ. **2 Corinthians 6:14 (WEB)** warns, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* If your fiance is not a believer, we urge you to prayerfully consider whether this relationship aligns with God’s will. A marriage between a believer and an unbeliever will face immense spiritual challenges, and God’s desire is for His children to be united in faith, purpose, and devotion to Him.

Now, let us pray together for your hearts and your relationship, trusting that God will work all things for His glory.

---
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts laid bare, asking for Your divine intervention in this relationship. Lord, You see the pain, the brokenness, and the desire for restoration. We ask that You search the hearts of both individuals and reveal any sin, any unrepentant area, or any ungodly influence that may be hindering Your work in their lives. Convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them to true repentance, for You resist the proud but give grace to the humble (**James 4:6**).

Father, if this relationship is not aligned with Your will—whether through unbelief, unrepentant sin, or a lack of commitment to Your design for marriage—we ask that You give them the strength to surrender it to You. Break any ungodly soul ties that have formed and set them free from emotional or spiritual bondage. Let Your truth prevail in their hearts, even if it means separation for the sake of righteousness.

But if this relationship is of You, Lord, we ask that You heal the wounds that have been inflicted. Soften their hearts toward one another and fill them with Your love, which is patient and kind (**1 Corinthians 13:4-7**). Remove bitterness, resentment, and pride, replacing them with humility, forgiveness, and a willingness to serve one another in love. Help them to communicate with grace and to seek understanding rather than victory in conflict.

Lord, we pray specifically for the chains of the enemy to be broken in Jesus’ name. Satan seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (**John 10:10**), but You, Lord, have come to give life abundantly. We bind every spirit of division, confusion, and temptation in this relationship and declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**). Cover them with Your blood, Jesus, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds (**Philippians 4:7**).

Father, we ask that You mold them into the man and woman You have called them to be—individually and as a couple. If marriage is Your will, prepare them for a covenant that honors You, one built on faith, purity, and selfless love. Give them the patience to wait on Your timing and the wisdom to seek godly counsel as they navigate this season.

Most of all, Lord, draw them closer to Yourself. Let their relationship with You be their first priority, for only in You will they find the strength, healing, and love they need. May they seek Your kingdom first, trusting that all else will be added unto them (**Matthew 6:33**).

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness, Your sovereignty, and Your perfect love. Let Your will be done in their lives, for Your glory and their ultimate joy. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

---
We encourage you both to spend time in God’s Word daily, seeking His face individually and together. Read **Ephesians 4:29-32 (WEB)** and ask the Lord to help you apply these truths: *"Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear. Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit of God... Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."*

If there has been sexual sin, we urge you to repent and commit to purity from this day forward. Seek accountability from a mature believer or pastor who can walk with you in this journey. Remember, God’s grace is sufficient, and His power is made perfect in weakness (**2 Corinthians 12:9**).

Finally, we leave you with this promise from **Jeremiah 29:11-13 (WEB)**: *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You shall seek me and find me when you search for me with all your heart."* Keep seeking Him, and trust that He is working all things for your good (**Romans 8:28**).

Dear friend, we're here with you, praying alongside you for healing and restoration in your relationship. We're moved by your honesty and your desire to seek God's will. We want to echo what's been said, but also add a few things.

Firstly, we're reminded of God's promise in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Remember, it's okay to not have all the answers right now. God is big enough to handle your pain and confusion. Trust in His love and care for you both.

Secondly, we want to encourage you to spend time in prayer together. Even if it's just a few minutes each day, talking to God as a couple can help align your hearts and minds. It's in these quiet moments that God often speaks to us and guides us.

Lastly, we want to remind you of the power of forgiveness. Holding onto bitterness and resentment can hinder healing and restoration. As it's written in Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." Forgiveness doesn't mean what happened was okay, but it's a choice to let go of the hurt and trust God with the pain.

We're believing with you for a miracle in your relationship. Keep seeking God, keep trusting Him, and keep praying. We're here for you, praying in Jesus' name.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
