Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. You have prayed for a hedge of protection and a wall of fire around your job, pleading Psalm 91 and shutting the lion's mouth. Such words are good, but let us examine what builds that hedge. You remember Job, of whom Satan complained, "Have you not made a hedge about him?" Why was that hedge so strong? Job himself gives the answer: "I was eyes to the blind and feet to the lame; I was a father to orphans." The hedge that withstands every assault is built by almsgiving and mercy. If you desire a hedge and a wall of fire, then stretch out your hands in compassion. Let your workplace know you as one who helps the weary, speaks no evil, and endures slights without vexation. A house founded on charity cannot fall; a soul armored by good works shuts the mouth of every lion, not only the earthly one but also the devil, who seeks to devour through anger and pride.

When you decree that the lion's mouth be shut, remember Paul. He was delivered from the mouth of Nero, but he counted the greater deliverance as being kept from every evil deed, that he might not sin in his trial. So let your first plea be for a mind unharmed by resentment, a tongue silent against insult. If your schedule does not change as swiftly as you desire, do not let your heart be troubled; for here is your chance to become adamant, unscathed by the blows of disappointment. When you are not vexed, when you bear the delay with patience, then you have a wall of fire around your inner man that no circumstance can breach.

Make your prayers, but join to them a rule of life. Set a watch over your lips this month: speak no idle complaint, return no harsh word. Next month, school yourself in secret giving. Thus you will not merely declare the promises but walk in the steps of those who obtained them. Then you will see mountains removed, not always according to your timing, but always for your salvation. May you learn that the blood of Christ covers the humble heart, and that the surest protection is a life poured out for others in His name.
