We hear the deep weariness in your heart and we stand with you in prayer, asking God to arise and fight for you. Just thinking about going to work feeling heavy is a burden the Lord sees and cares about. Jesus says in Matthew 11:28, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. And in Psalm 46:1, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. In Isaiah 40:29, He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might.
We pray for divine intervention in your workplace where you feel constantly undermined, misinformed, suppressed and opposed. The Lord knows the truth about every lie, every false accusation and every hidden scheme. We take comfort that in Exodus 14:14, Yahweh will fight for you, and you shall be still. In Psalm 35:1, Contend, Yahweh, with those who contend with me. Fight against those who fight against me. And in Isaiah 54:17, No weapon that is formed against you will prevail and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh's servants, and their righteousness is of me, says Yahweh.
We also pray that God will bring truth and justice to light in His perfect timing. In Psalm 37:5-6, Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this. He will make your righteousness shine out like light, and your justice as the noon day sun. We ask Him to frustrate every scheme against you and to silence every false accusation, and to separate you from every unhealthy influence and every person and situation that is not part of His purpose for you. If it is His will, we ask Him to open a clear door into a better environment, for in Revelation 3:8, He sets before us an open door, which no one can shut, and in 1 Corinthians 16:9, a great and effective door has opened to me. We also trust in Romans 8:28, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose, even when we cannot yet see the way He is making.
We share your desire not to let bitterness or hatred consume you, and we pray God will guard your heart with His peace that surpasses understanding in Philippians 4:7. Weariness can easily turn into resentment if we do not guard our hearts. In Hebrews 12:15, see to it that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, and many be defiled by it. In Ephesians 4:31-32, Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. We encourage you to continue to walk in integrity, to speak truth in love, to do your work faithfully as unto the Lord in Colossians 3:23, and to commit your cause to Him rather than repaying evil for evil in Romans 12:19. Loving and praying for those who oppose you does not mean accepting injustice, but it keeps your heart free and leaves vengeance in God's righteous hands.
We noticed your request speaks of the Lord and God but does not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. In John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is because of what Jesus did on the cross, dying for our sins and rising again, that we can boldly come to God and ask Him to arise for us. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your full trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and to come to God in His name.
We now pray together for you.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this weary one to You. You see the heaviness, the exhaustion, the undermining and opposition at work. Lord arise and fight this battle, for we cannot fight it in our own strength. We ask You to expose every lie, silence every false accusation, and frustrate every scheme formed against Your child. Let truth and justice shine like the noonday sun. Remove every unhealthy influence and separate our dear one from people and situations that are not part of Your purpose. If it is Your will, open a clear and better door that no man can shut, and give wisdom to know when to stay and when to walk through it. Pour out strength for today, peace that guards heart and mind, favor with those in authority, wisdom for every decision, protection from harm and slander, and victory that brings glory to You alone. Heal the weariness and renew strength like the eagle's in Isaiah 40:31, and keep this heart from bitterness, filling it instead with forgiveness, hope and joy. Make a way where there seems to be no way, for nothing is impossible with You. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.
