We hear your cry for deliverance from troubling visions, thoughts, and attacks, and we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ to break every assignment of the enemy. The battle does indeed belong to the Lord, and we take our place in agreement with His Word. First, we must address the foundation of your prayer, salvation and access to God come only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His blood, His sacrifice, and His resurrection that we have the power to resist the enemy and stand firm in faith.

The dreams, nightmares, and visions you describe are not from God, for He gives His beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2) and speaks in peace, not in torment. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came that you might have life and have it abundantly. We rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that these attacks have no place in your life, and we command them to cease now. The Word of God tells us, "For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:3-5). We take every thought, every vision, and every dream captive to the obedience of Christ.

We also recognize the pain and frustration you feel toward those who have wronged you. It is natural to feel anger, but we must guard our hearts against bitterness and unforgiveness, for the Word warns us that "if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses" (Matthew 6:15). We encourage you to release these individuals to God, trusting Him to be the righteous Judge. Romans 12:19 reminds us, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" Your responsibility is to walk in love, forgiveness, and peace, leaving the rest to God.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names. We thank You that You are our refuge, our stronghold, and our deliverer. Lord, we lift up this dear one who is under attack from the enemy through troubling visions, thoughts, and dreams. We rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression in Jesus' name. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every assignment of the enemy to be broken and destroyed now.

Father, we ask that You would fill their mind with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and let no corrupt communication proceed out of their mouth, but only what is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear (Ephesians 4:29). We pray that You would replace every lie of the enemy with Your truth. Let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105).

Lord, we also pray for those who have wronged them. We ask that You would soften their hearts and lead them to repentance. Help this dear one to release any bitterness, anger, or unforgiveness, and fill their heart with Your love and compassion. Teach them to pray for those who persecute them, as You have commanded (Matthew 5:44). We declare that no weapon formed against their family or relationships shall prosper, and we bind every spirit of division, strife, and discord in Jesus' name.

Father, we thank You for Your promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We trust in Your protection and provision. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to stand firm in the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and we thank You for the victory that is already theirs in Jesus' name.

We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing on God’s Word and resisting the enemy. James 4:7 tells us, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Speak the Word of God over your life, your mind, and your circumstances. Fill your heart and mind with Scripture, and let the peace of God rule in your heart. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your faith. You are not alone in this battle, and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Stand firm, dear one, and trust in the Lord with all your heart. He is faithful, and He will deliver you.

We hear the exhaustion in your words, being haunted by the same upsetting vision over forty times is genuinely draining, and we are sorry you’re carrying this weight. You’ve done something important already: you handed the whole battle to God and declared you’re walking away from it. That kind of surrender matters, and He takes your prayer seriously.

Sometimes when a disturbing thought keeps returning, the more we strain against it in our own strength, the more our minds stay anchored to it. You’ve asked God to end these nightmares and visions. Now, one practical way to “walk away and leave it alone” might be this: when the image or thought comes, rather than entering a new round of rebuking, try quietly breathing, “Jesus, You are my shield. I trust You,” and then deliberately turn your attention to something else, a line from a worship song, a truth you know about God’s care for you, or a small bit of the good goals you want to pursue. This isn’t ignoring the battle; it’s trusting that the Lord who fights for you is already handling it. Over time, this shift can loosen the hold of those relentless images.

We are praying that Christ’s own peace will guard your heart and mind, and that rest will replace the turmoil.

Lord Jesus, You see this weary one and the torment these visions bring. We ask for Your calm to settle over their mind right now. Break the cycle of these thoughts and grant deep, restful sleep free from nightmares. Shield their family from real harm, and bring justice swiftly. Give them strength to leave this battle fully at Your feet and to turn their eyes toward the good future You have for them. We pray in Your victorious name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You pour out your soul in a torrent of words, and the Lord hears every one. The cry of Psalm 35 is well remembered by Him who wrote it through David, and He will attend to it still. David knew where to run for shelter in his hour of difficulty, and so do you. You have been much slandered; your course is rough, but "HE brought them forth" is the song of every believing heart. It is well that you hand the battle over to the Lord and walk away, leave it there, and take up no carnal weapons. Fret not yourself because of evildoers, neither be envious against the workers of iniquity. Those who have troubled you shall be as the fat of lambs; into smoke shall they vanish away.

Let your soul wait only upon God, for your expectation is from Him. When visions and nightmares troop around your bed like dogs that bay all night, remember that your Shepherd neither slumbers nor sleeps. The enemy cannot go beyond a certain point, for the blood of the Lamb is upon your door. You feel utterly unable to produce your own deliverance, and that is the best place any soul can be, nothing in yourself, everything in Free Grace. Then He makes the deliverance effectual, and brings you forth with silver and gold of spiritual comfort. He will show you light, though now it seems very dark.

Do not let your thoughts endlessly retrace the wrongs done against you. Instead, when these flashes come, turn them into a prayer: "Say unto my soul, I am thy salvation." Ask the Lord to give you full assurance that He is your deliverance, for if you know that, you have strength to suffer patiently. Even in this, remember how David wrote that beautiful Psalm after deliverance, saying, "Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the Lord." Your present trial, sanctified, will become a testimony of His gentle goodness. He has promised to give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. The very thoughts of the night, the terrors you describe, He can and will rebuke them. Count upon it: as the wicked perish, the righteous shows mercy and gives; so shall you yet give thanks for peace where once there was only tumult.

You cry out for God to fight your battles, and rightly so, for the battle belongs to the Lord. But take heed lest you yourself become an enemy to your own soul through the hatred that consumes you. For we were once enemies in our minds through wicked works, yet Christ reconciled us by His death. If He showed such mercy to us while we were hostile, ought we not to show mercy to those who wrong us?

Consider what you gain by bearing meekly the spiteful acts of your enemies: deliverance from sins, fortitude, mildness, and a freedom from anger that brings ten thousand blessings. To hate another is to punish yourself; to love is to benefit yourself. When you spend your days binding, rebuking, and resisting in your thoughts, you only wound your own peace, making yourself a laughingstock to the demons who delight in such turmoil.

God does not need your commands to bind and loose; He has already seated Christ at His right hand, waiting until His enemies become His footstool. Your true enemies are not merely these people, but the spiritual forces of wickedness, and Christ has triumphed over them, not by human anger but by the sacrifice of Himself. Leave them to His judgment. Hand over the battle, as you say, but then truly walk away, not merely in word, but in the quietness of your soul.

Did not our Lord permit even death, yet by it He gave us a better resurrection? So too He may allow these trials to teach you to despise the opinions of men and to cling to the honor that comes from God alone. The visions and dreams that haunt you lose their power when you cease to fight them with carnal weapons. Instead, fill your mind with prayer for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven.

If you would be free from these nightmares, first be free from the nightmare of wrath. The one who knows not how to hate will not spend his life on vain labors and sorrows. Cease from rebuking and resisting as though by your words you could control spiritual things, and instead humble yourself under the mighty hand of God. Pray not only against the attacks, but for the attackers, that their hearts may turn and that you may obtain the better resurrection of a meek and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God.

The sharp edge of your prayer cuts straight to the heart of what King David poured out in that very psalm you named: “Plead my cause, O Lord, with those who strive with me; fight against those who fight against me.” That is not a passive sigh; it is a deliberate handover. You have handed the battle to the One who never loses a case and never sheathes His sword in defeat. The first thing to do is leave it there. You said you walk away, now hold to that. Resist the urge to pick up what you laid down. The watchman blows the trumpet to warn; his task ends there. God does not ask you to carry the weight of the outcome, only to trust Him with it.

When the mind replays those images forty times, it feels like an onslaught. But remember: the God who redeemed Israel from the hand of those who hated them is the same God who watches over your sleep and knows every thought that races through your mind. He is good, and His mercy does not flicker out after a few decades or a few dozen nightmares. It endures forever. You do not need to rebuke in panic; you can rest in the authority He has already given you. Speak peace to your own heart, and let the truth of His deliverance crowd out the lies of those flashes.

Think of the wilderness in Isaiah’s vision. A barren, solitary place, yet it will be glad, and the desert will rejoice and blossom like a rose. That is the direction your story is headed: from drought to abundance, from torment to joy. What you see now is not the final chapter. The enemy’s taunts and the memory of being locked out and wounded are real, but they are not eternal. There is a coming kingdom age where every wrong is made right, and even now the echoes of that promise break into our present. God promises to gather His own from the land of the enemy, and no hatred or wicked scheme can overturn His covenant to hold you securely.

When Jacob’s family was unraveling, full of heartbreak and sin, God said, “Arise, go up to Bethel and dwell there.” That was a call to return to the place of encounter, to anchor himself again in worship and not in the wreckage. You do the same when you pray and hand it over. Stay there, in the presence of God, where the battle belongs to Him. Refrain your voice from weeping, because your work of trusting Him will be rewarded. They shall come again from the land of the enemy.

These dreams and visions do not define you, and they do not determine your future. Christ has already won the victory. Let your mind be filled with thanksgiving, not for the pain, but for the One who is good and whose mercy endures. The Lord fights for you. Walk in that truth, and leave the rest with Him.

We want you to know how deeply we have carried your urgent plea before the Lord these past days. Every word of your prayer—your cries against tormenting visions, your pleas for protection over your family, your resolve to stand on Psalm 35:1—has been lifted up in agreement with you. We have asked the Father to rebuke every lying spirit, to cancel every assignment of fear, and to let the peace of Christ guard your heart and mind. We have prayed that the enemy’s permission to harass would be revoked, that every wrongdoer would flee in terror, and that no weapon formed against you or your loved ones would prosper.

If the Lord has already answered and the nightmares have ceased, the oppression lifted, or the threats silenced, we ask you to share a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If the battle still rages and the dreams persist, we invite you to post this request again so we can continue to stand in the gap, wielding the authority of Jesus’ name until every foe is scattered and every attack is dismantled. Either way, we remain steadfast in prayer, believing that the God who began this good work in you will bring it to completion.

May He strengthen you with power through His Spirit, fill you with hope that does not disappoint, and surround you with songs of deliverance. Walk in the victory that is already yours in Christ, and trust that every promise He has spoken over your life will come to pass. We pray all these things in the mighty, matchless name of Jesus. Amen.
