We hear your heart and your desire to see the promise of Proverbs 3:4 become real in your life, and we join with you in seeking God's will together in Jesus' name. You quoted, So you will find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man, Proverbs 3:4, and we rejoice that you are looking to God's Word for your future. We want to gently help you see the full context of that verse, for it is not a formula to be loosened or spoken into existence as if it were magic, but a promise connected to a way of life. The verse before says, Don't let kindness and truth forsake you. Bind them around your neck. Write them on the tablet of your heart, Proverbs 3:3. Favor with God and man comes as we walk daily in His mercy, truth, and obedience, not by repeating words to create luck, but by living faithfully before Him.

We also notice you spoke of being lucky and of making things happen 100 fold by declaration. We love you enough to share that the Bible does not teach luck, it teaches providence and blessing from the Father's hand. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variableness nor shadow of turning, James 1:17. And we are not called to speak things into existence for our own desires, but to seek His kingdom first. But seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well, Matthew 6:33. God does promise to provide and to multiply His grace, but His provision is according to His wisdom and timing, not our incantation. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19.

We pray with you for your job, for stability and favor there, and for your dreams of owning your own fifth wheel trailer, buying land, finding a home, retiring, visiting family who loves you, your daughters, friends, and keeping your cats with you. These are good and wholesome desires for provision, peace, and family fellowship, and God cares about every detail of your life, even the pets He has entrusted to you. For the Lord God is a sun and shield. The Lord will give grace and glory. He withholds no good thing from those who walk blamelessly, Psalm 84:11.

We also hear your longing to do these things in secret without your ex. We do not know all the pain or history that has led to this desire for secrecy, and we have compassion for you. If there is a need for safety, we encourage you to seek wise and godly counsel and lawful protection from pastors, trusted family, and proper authorities. If this is about avoiding conflict or hurt, we encourage you to pursue peace with integrity and not through hiddenness that could bring more difficulty later. The Lord sees what is done in secret and He is your refuge and protector. We encourage you to walk in truth and kindness even toward those who have hurt you, trusting God to be your defender, and to make decisions openly and wisely as a good steward of what He provides. Let all that you do be done in love, 1 Corinthians 16:14.

We thank you for honoring the blood of Jesus, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is by His blood we are redeemed and forgiven. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. It is by that blood we can come boldly before God, not to claim luck, but to receive mercy and grace.

We pray together now.

Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ Your Son and by His blood shed for us. We thank You for this dear one who loves Your Word and longs for Your favor. Write kindness and truth on their heart, Lord, and help them to walk in Your ways daily so that favor with You and with others would be a natural fruit of a life abiding in You. Provide for their job, give them diligence and skill and a good testimony there, for whatever you do, work heartily as for the Lord, Colossians 3:23. We ask for Your provision for housing, for the trailer and land and home they desire, according to Your perfect will and timing, and help them to steward all You give for Your glory. Grant them safe travel to see family and daughters and friends who love them, and keep them in fellowship and love. We thank You for the cats You have given them to care for and to bring comfort, and we ask You to continue to provide for all their needs. Father, heal any wounds from the past relationship, give wisdom regarding the desire for secrecy, protect them from harm, and lead them in paths of peace, truth, and righteousness. Remove any trust in luck or in formulas and establish their trust fully in You and Your sovereign goodness. Let them know Your favor is not luck but Your loving kindness poured out through Christ. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.

We hear how much you are longing for stability and peace right now, to find favor in your work, to have a place of your own, to be free to visit family who loves you and to keep your cats close by. Those are good, understandable hopes after walking through divorce, and we are praying with you for wisdom as you think about next steps.

Starting over after a marriage ends is often a long process of grieving what was lost and then gradually setting new goals for the life ahead. It makes sense you are thinking about practical things like work, housing, a trailer, land, and retirement, and also about relationships that feel safe and supportive. Holding both together takes time.

One thing that can help is to bring those big hopes into a workable plan with someone you trust. If you have a pastor, counselor, or a wise family member or friend, consider sitting down with them to talk through the job situation, the finances around a trailer or land, and the timing for travel to see family. Writing down one small next step for each area can keep it from feeling overwhelming and help you make decisions that are steady and sustainable.

We pray for you now.

Father, we lift up our friend to You and ask for Your guidance and provision in work and daily life. Give clarity for decisions about housing and the future, safety and peace in relationships, and the comfort of loving family and friends nearby. Guard and encourage this heart, and help each step forward to be taken with wisdom and hope. In Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry has been heard and brought before the Lord with care, and we join our hearts with yours in seeking His mercy and wisdom.

You have fastened upon that precious word in Proverbs, that you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man. That favor does not come by loosening a verse into existence as though words themselves were a charm, nor by claiming a hundredfold as a debt from Heaven. The proverb itself shows the way, let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you, bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. So shall you find favor. That love and faithfulness are first found in Christ, and then wrought in us by His Spirit. True favor with God is not luck, but grace, and it comes only because God Himself has found a ransom. As it is written, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom. That ransom is the blood of Jesus, which you have rightly named, and through that blood alone we have hope of favor with God and peace with man.

We have also heard your groaning concerning your daily work, your desire for a home and provision, for a fifth wheel trailer and land and a place to dwell in quiet, for means to travel and see family who love you and to be reunited with your daughters and friends, and to keep the creatures entrusted to your care. The Lord has looked down from the height of His sanctuary, from Heaven has the Lord beheld the earth, to hear the groaning of the prisoner, to loose those that are appointed to death. He knows your need and your affliction. We do not ask Him to grant these things as a matter of fortune, for there is no luck with the children of God, only Providence, but we ask Him to provide as a Father, according to His wisdom, to give you honest favor in your labor, to open doors for provision in His time, and to teach you contentment and trust while you wait upon Him. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son, and if He has done this great thing, what will He not do for those who trust Him.

Concerning your desire to go away secretly from your former spouse and to live and retire in quiet, we pray for your safety and your peace. Our afflictions may come distinctly from man, yet they come with greater certainty from the Lord and may be the necessary outcome of His special love to us. For this reason we may wisely moderate our anger against second causes and say, the will of the Lord be done. The Lord is good and His mercy endures forever. It is not killing but curing that God means when He takes the sharp lancet in His hand. If there is danger or oppression, seek godly counsel and lawful help, open your case to a faithful pastor and to those who can give you wise and practical aid, that your steps may be ordered in honesty and not in fear alone. Pray not only for a secret departure but for a righteous path, for protection, for reconciliation where it is possible, and for deliverance where it is needful.

Let us pray together.

O Eternal God, our refuge, You have looked down in pity upon this Your servant. We thank You that You have found a ransom in the blood of Your Son, and that through Him we may find favor with You. Grant favor in honest labor, give diligence and integrity at work, and let that favor be seen by those in authority as You will. Provide for daily bread and for dwelling, for shelter and for travel, according to Your good will, and keep from covetous haste. Guide every plan concerning home and land and journey, let all be done in truth and in peace, with counsel and with prudence. Guard and keep this life from all harm, comfort the heart that longs for family, restore and preserve right bonds with daughters and loved ones, and let Your people show steadfast love. Have mercy upon the household, even upon the living creatures You have made, and keep them. Lead away from all mere notions of luck into a firm trust in Your providence, and deliver from the power of darkness into the light of Your Son, that whether in plenty or in want, this soul may say, I shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord. We ask this not because we are worthy, but because You have commanded to deliver those for whom a ransom is found. In the name of Jesus Christ our only Savior, Amen.

Your prayer has been read and heard, and your longing for favor with God and with people is a good and right desire. The verse you mention, Proverbs 3:4, does indeed promise that we will find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man, but the verse before it shows the way. It says, let steadfast love and faithfulness never leave you, bind them around your neck and write them on your heart. Favor is not found by loosening words into existence or by repeating a phrase many times, and it is not luck. It is the fruit of a life that loves righteousness and walks faithfully with God through Jesus Christ, in whom alone we have peace with God.

God does not give His favor as a reward for a formula, but as a Father to children who seek Him with reverence and godly fear. That is why Scripture calls us to love righteousness and to keep justice pure, not turning aside for gain or for favor from men. The profit of unrighteousness or of trying to force God's hand is little or nothing in this life, and it brings no help for the life to come. What we need most is excellence of soul, a heart that is faithful, honest in work, and steadfast in love. Though we had every earthly advantage, without that it would avail us nothing, but with it we are carried safely through this world and toward the kingdom which cannot be moved.

For your job, pray not for luck but for diligence, honesty, and watchfulness. The present life has many dangers and temptations to sleep and slumber, and offenses and trials are allowed to awaken us and make us more watchful. If we are watchful and do our work as unto the Lord, making provision for what is needful and healthy rather than for wantonness or excess, God is able to provide what you need day by day. He builds for those who love Him a house that continues forever in heaven and gives treasures that no robber or moth can touch, which is far greater than any earthly possession.

It is understandable that you desire a place of your own, a fifth wheel trailer, land and a home, the ability to visit family who love you and to see your daughters and friends, and to keep and care for your cats. God sees these desires and He cares for our daily needs and for the creatures entrusted to us. Ask Him for wisdom to steward what He provides, to live within what you have, to save and plan with patience, and to be content while you wait. The better knowledge is not how to gain many things quickly, but how to use what we have for good works and for the help of others, and how to set our hope on what does not pass away. This world and all that is in it will be shaken, but the kingdom we receive in Christ remains.

You also speak of doing things in secret because of your former spouse. It is right to seek peace and safety, and to act wisely and lawfully. Secret planning that comes from fear or from a desire to deceive does not bring rest. It is better to seek godly counsel, pastoral counsel and, where needed, wise legal counsel, so that your steps are open, just, and peaceful before God and man. Do not pervert justice in any direction, but do what is right and true, trusting that God who sees in secret will guide and guard you. If there is danger or threat, seek help from trusted family, friends, and authorities. If there is only hurt and tension, seek the way of quiet faithfulness and prayer, that you may live with a clear conscience before God.

The blood of Jesus is not a phrase to add power to our words, but the true price by which we are forgiven and brought near to God. Through Him we can come with confidence and ask for what we need.

Let us pray for you now. Father in heaven, we thank You that through Jesus Christ we can find favor with You. We ask that You would write steadfast love and faithfulness on this dear one's heart, and help them to walk in righteousness with reverence for You. Provide for their work, give strength for honest labor, and supply daily bread according to Your wisdom. Grant guidance for housing and for future plans for retirement and family visits, that all may be done in a way that honors You and keeps a good conscience. Grant peace where there has been strife, wisdom where there is need for decisions, and protection and provision for their household including the animals in their care. Teach them to pray frequently and to purpose good works, to extinguish disordered desires and to choose what is mild and good in Your sight. Keep them watchful and awake in soul, looking to the kingdom that cannot be shaken. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
