Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to lift up our beloved friend on their special day. We thank You for the gift of their life and the unique purpose You have for them. We pray that You fill their heart with Your love, joy, and peace, and that they would know Your presence in a powerful way.

Lord, we ask that You guide their steps, grant them wisdom, and help them to grow in their relationship with You. May they always remember that they are fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
