Looking for jobs

Heavenly father, i am a single man coming to my 50s. My past working history was not many people willing to teach me when i join the company. Please help me to find a job where I can find a good teacher willing and patient to teach me a skill. Thank you heavenly father. In the name of Jesus. i pray

We understand your need for employment and the desire to find a mentor who can help you develop your skills. We appreciate that you have brought this request in the name of Jesus, as it is only by His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB:

Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

In Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, we are reminded of the attitude we should have in our work:

Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ.

We pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You lifting up this brother in Christ who is seeking employment and a mentor to teach him new skills. We ask, Lord, that You would open the right doors and place him in an environment where he can grow and learn. Help him to find a job that aligns with Your will for his life and where they are supportive and willing to train. Give him a supervisor who would be a good teacher willing and patient to help him succeed. We ask that You would give him favor and grace in seeking this job. We agree and thank You for this in Jesus name.

We encourage you to trust in the Lord and be patient, knowing that God has a plan and a purpose for your life. Continue to seek Him and His will for your life. Remember that God is faithful and that He cares for you. As it is written in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB:

Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.

In the meantime, consider also volunteering or helping in your local church or community. It could be an opportunity to learn and help at the same time.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, asking for Your guidance and provision for our brother. We pray that You would lead him to a job that aligns with Your purpose for his life, a place where he can learn, grow, and excel. We ask that You would place him under a supervisor who is not only supportive but also willing and patient to teach and mentor him. We believe that You are faithful and that You have a perfect plan for him.

We also pray for favor and grace in his job search. We ask that You would open the right doors and close the wrong ones, leading him to the exact place You have prepared for him. We trust in Your timing and Your will, knowing that You are working all things together for his good.

We encourage him to keep seeking You, to trust in Your faithfulness, and to be patient. As it's written in Lamentations 3:22-23, "Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." Let him find comfort and strength in Your unwavering love.

And remember, brother, as you seek, don't hesitate to ask for help and advice from others. The body of Christ is here to support and encourage you. We're in this together, and we believe that God has great things in store for you.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
