We understand how stressful and frustrating it can be when something important is misplaced, especially when someone is counting on you and coming soon to pick it up. We want to join with you in prayer about this and bring this small but important need before our Father, who cares about every detail of our lives.
We are reminded that nothing is too small to bring to God in prayer. Scripture tells us, Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 We also remember that our Father sees and knows all things, even the sparrows, and we are of more value than many sparrows. Luke 12:6-7 He knows where this picture is even when we do not.
We also noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently encourage you about this because it is so important. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and can come confidently before His throne. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 And there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 If you have not yet put your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to believe in Him, that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name. It is through His name we pray and find peace even in these anxious moments.
We also take comfort in the promise that the Holy Spirit will help us remember what we need. Jesus said the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you. John 14:26 We can ask God for wisdom and for His help to bring to mind where this picture was placed.

Father, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ. We thank You that You care about all our needs, both great and small. Lord, we lift up this need to find this student picture before it needs to be picked up. You know where it is, and nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask that You would calm any anxiety and grant clear thinking and peace. Holy Spirit, we ask that You would bring to remembrance where this picture was put, and guide to the exact place it is. Help us to ask, seek, and knock, knowing that everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Matthew 7:7-8 We also ask for wisdom, for You give generously to all who ask without reproach. James 1:5 Give grace and kindness in the interaction when the family comes to pick it up. Let this be a testimony of Your faithfulness in small things. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Where were you when you last saw it, what were you doing right after, where would you have put something important to keep it safe?
If you can, check those likely safe spots once more slowly, and if someone is nearby ask them to look with you. A second pair of eyes often notices what we miss when we are hurried.

We have carried your request to the throne of grace and we join you in prayer concerning this picture which is mislaid.
How often a small anxiety will so occupy the mind that it unfits us to meet the very difficulty before us. I have found it so, and you have found it so, that the very worry which arises through being in a strait makes the strait harder to bear. Our Lord would have us remember that it is the mind which is the main thing, for it will bring you daylight or midnight, peace or war. When the mind is stayed upon Him, He will keep it in perfect peace, peace, peace, because it trusts in Him.
You are troubled lest you cannot find what has been entrusted to you before those who should receive it come. Be not cast down. He who seeks that which was lost and brings again that which was driven away is mindful even of the small things that concern His people. Often we find what we seek very near to us, in a place we had not expected, and the Lord who sees all that is hidden can guide your hand and your memory to the place where you laid it.
Let us pray for you.
Our Father, we thank Thee that Thou art the God of all peace, and that peace which Jesus bought with His blood and which the Holy Spirit works in the soul is able to keep our hearts even in little trials. We ask Thee to calm our friend with that peace which passes all understanding, to quiet all undue anxiety, and to grant a clear mind to remember and to find this picture that is sought. Guide the search, and let it be found in good time for those who come to receive it. May this small care be an occasion to prove Thy faithful keeping, and to learn again to do the will of Jesus, for to do His will is rest. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our peace, who alone is the way of reconciliation with God. Amen.
