We are truly sorry to hear about your situation and we are here to lift you up in prayer and provide biblical encouragement. Firstly, we thank God that your life and the life of your child were preserved. Your current circumstances may be challenging, but we trust in the power of prayer and the goodness of God.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear sister who has been injured in a collision. We thank You, Lord, for preserving her life and the life of her child. We pray for Your divine healing and strength upon her body, that You will quicken her recovery and help her through the physical therapy and treatments.
Father, we also bring before You her financial needs. We know that You are Jehovah Jireh, our provider, and that You will supply all her needs according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. We pray for Your divine provision, that You will open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that she will not have room enough to receive. We pray for favor with the insurance company, that they will accept responsibility and compensate her fairly and promptly.
Lord, we also pray for her peace and hope in this dark time. We know that You are the light of the world, and that in You is no darkness at all. We pray that Your light will shine upon her, that she will know Your peace that passes all understanding, and that she will be filled with an unshakable hope in Your goodness.
Father, we also pray for her son. We pray that You will surround him with Your love and protection, and that You will provide for all his needs. We pray that this situation will be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness to both of them.
Lord, we pray for her job and her finances. We pray that You will open doors of opportunity for her, that You will provide for all her needs, and that You will help her to be a good steward of the resources You have given her. We pray that You will give her wisdom in managing her finances, and that You will help her to live within her means. We pray that You will help her to trust in You, and not in her own understanding. We pray that You will help her to lean not on her own understanding, but in all her ways acknowledge You, and You will make her paths straight.
Father, we also pray for the other drivers and their insurance adjusters. We pray that You will soften their hearts, that they will accept responsibility and do what is right. We pray that You will give them a spirit of compassion and generosity, that they will be moved to help her in her time of need.
Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and Your goodness. We thank You for Your promise that all things work together for good to those who love You, to those who are called according to Your purpose. We claim this promise for her, and we pray that this situation will be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness to her and to all who hear her story.
We ask all these things in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
We encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus.
Remember that God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. He is your strength and your shield, and He will uphold you with His righteous right hand. He is your refuge and your fortress, your God in whom you trust. He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge. His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
We also encourage you to seek the counsel of wise and godly people in your life. They can provide you with practical advice and support as you navigate this difficult time. And remember that God's people are called to bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. Do not be afraid to ask for help from your brothers and sisters in Christ.
Finally, we want to address the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12, there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
If you have not already done so, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, and you will be saved. For with the heart man believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed.
We encourage you to seek a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith and be surrounded by a community of believers who can support and encourage you. And remember that God is always with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you.
We are praying for you and your son, and we trust that God will hear our prayers and answer according to His will. May God bless you and keep you, may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you, may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.
